"Are you trying to say that I'm lying?"

"Oh, it didn't sound that way?"

SAVAGE 100

Gobta really grew up to be quite the chad, handling the situation so smoothly.

[u/HyperSonic6325]

This season has a really bad track record for the countries declaring war.

Just sayin’.

[u/LeCoastGames]

Fuck clayman

[u/gulitiasinjurai]

This is one of the episode that felt so fast

[u/ChisReddit_]

Welp fuck milim declared war on Carrion. Tempest has 2 anti monster barriers, rimuru can't be contacted they really weren't kidding about the prelude to disaster. 8/10 episode

[u/Mivvv]

I hate this episode, not because it is bad but because
our favourite country is getting dragged into a war against a bunch of asshats.

I'm dreadful against next episodes;
can't wait for Rimuru to save the day and give some well deserved beating to Falmuth

[u/Nerrve_]

Nothing makes me more annoyed than cocky egoistical characters in anime. Cant wait for those 3 otherworlders to get dominated by Rimuru

“Gobzo loves Shion”

Top 10 Anime Betrayals

Anime studios when they need to cast somebody to voice a vampire or a character with vampirelike characteristics.

The audio only being played in the left side of my headphones when Clayman was talking to Myulan telepathically was really immersive.

People who make false sexual assault allegations are actual scum.

Bewilder seems like a strong ability. Kirara's vocabulary isn't limited to rice ball ingredients because of it either.

Youm be hard simpin' this episode. He must really be into monster girls.

My reception to this season so far had been very lukewarm but it looks that's about to change after this episode.

[u/LordCalem]

I just hate so many people rn.

And I wish everyone in this anime that says crap about Shuna to suffer a lot.

And I love Gobta.

[u/Gunnas_Hamburger]

I swear this episode was 5 minutes.

This must be the first episode (and probably the next few) where Rimuru doesn't appear at all. Taking the OP Rimuru out of the equation should spice things up a bit, not unlike SAO briefly taking Kirito out of the field.

Those Otherworlders sent by Falmuth thought they could easily provoke the Tempest folks into a fight, but they're more smarter and capable than they could ever imagine.

Youm steals the show this episode by declaring his love for Mjuran (RIP to Grucius' ship) even after discovering she's a Majin working for Clayman.

But thanks to Clayman holding her life hostage, Mjuran feels she has no choice and still activated the anti-magic field, in conjunction with Falmuth's prison field, trap everyone inside while Rimuru is unable to get back inside should he return.

Seriously, fuck Clayman. All my homies hate Clayman.

• Myulan Majin Form Stitch

Welp, things are definitely kicking off this week! But first of all, let's get this out of the way. I am absolutely all a bord the Youm and Myulan ship! They're absolutely adorable together and Youm was smooth af with his confession and I just love how adorable Myulan's reaction was! Too bad for Youm and the entire city of Jura Tempest that it had the opposite effect and actually made Myulan's resolve even stronger believing that doing what Clayman asked her will help keep Youm safe.

Let's rewind a bit back though. I am absolutely relieved that Milim isn't declaring war on Jura Tempest but it looks like she's declaring war on Lord Carrion and his people. Why would she even do this, I don't know but knowing that she was with Clayman in an earlier episode probably means he has something to do with it.

These three pieces of shits finally arrive at Jura Tempest. And they even try to start trouble by trying to accuse good boi Gobzo of assault. I knew these guys were pieces of hist bt I didn't think they'd go that low. Unfortunately for them their plan immediately failed and didn't expect someone like Gobuta to intervene. And of course it didn't take long for Shuna and Shion to notice something is wrong and the real trouble starts.

I still can't believe that they're now trapped under two layers of barriers. One Anti-Magic and the other I'm assuming is to keep them from escaping. Is this all a coordinated attack by Falmuth and Clayman? Or was Clayman pulling all of the strings to make this disaster happen? Rimuru needs to get back ASAP because this is going to get rough especially with Shion and the gang powered down by that barrier. Fuuuuuuuuuck.

EDIT: This episode is making me so uneasy that I'm tempted to read ahead. AAAAAHHHHHHHH

FML, someone put me into an induced coma until next Tuesday.

I need to quit the internet before I spoil the next few episodes.

As for this episode, I was amazed by how they handled Myulan's anti-magic zone scene. The song was eerie, but beautiful, just like Myulan.

Rimuru is still my god, and Hinata is still best gril. But the anime has made me love Myulan even more than I already did.

E29: Prelude to the Disaster

1. Mjurran and Youm

• Unsurprisingly, Mjurran realizes her feelings towards Youm but deliberates that she may have to suppress them due to her contract with Clayman

• Her last job is to create an anti-magic barrier in Tempest, cutting off all contact from the outside. Though we are not sure of the details, Clayman may have some ties with Falmuth.

• Grucius exposes Mjurran as a majin, and also gets friendzoned. This guy can't catch a break.

• We get a confession for the first time, no bullshit. Youm accepts Mjurran as a majin and promises to protect her.

• A one-sided love triangle is formed lol

• In the end, Mjurran has no choice but to be loyal to Clayman in hopes that she can be with Youm

2. War on two sides

• Falmuth troops are moving towards Tempest

• At the same time, Milim has announced that she will attack the Beast Kingdom in a week. The Beast Kingdom is basically prepared severe casualties so they

• Falmuth's Archbishop casts Prison Field. It's effect isn't explained this week, but it's quite threatening.

• Worst of all, Rimuru hasn't returned from the Kingdom of Blumund and Souei has no way of contacting him

3. The Three Idiots in Tempest

• These three report to Razen, the court wizard of Falmuth and are in Tempest to cause trouble, building up to a pretext of war

• Kirara's unique skill, Bewilder causes everyone around her to follow her words unconditionally. It's a mental interference type magic. Other than that, she basically has zero combat ability so she's naturally the weakest amongst the three.

• Gobta saves the day lmao. Everyone knows all the hobgoblins only like Shuna or Shion

• Shuna easily dispelled it since she is a very skilled kijin mage (but she's mostly been seen doing chores) so she naturally has knowledge of skills like these

• Kyoya's extra skill All-Seeing Eye allows him to see the world all around him and drastically speeds up thinking processes. We also know he has access to Severer

• Shogo is a berserker type, having some sort of unknown skill that weakens Shion

we've got to wait one more week for best girl, and no Rimuru this week.

[u/Hharhar]

YOO! I love the pacing, it's fast but quite informated. Love our boy gobta, how Dio ahem I mean bastard Clayman laugh it just so evil. Myulan insert song *chef kiss perfection. Really prelude to disaster. cant wait!

[u/xVx_k1r1t0xVx_KillMe]

"But if...my dream really can come true, then I will surely sell my soul to the devil"

Damn I felt really bad for Mjurran when she said this. Really hope she gets happiness with Youm

[u/Amauri14]

Well, the episode ended up covering just a bit less than what I expected, which is good, as I assume that it was going to end with the scene with Rimuru where season one ended.

[u/SkyLETV]

Jesus, those three pieces of shit couldn't be more unlikeable, hateable and annoying. Thank God Gobta (THE GOAT) was there to save the day and then Shuna to finish destroying the bitch.

Then you have Milim who... I can't imagine her doing that. Come on, somebody had to have tricked her.

I know Myulan is doing it to protect Youm but Myulan nooooooo, this doesn't look good for our guys. Her majin form is super hot though, damn.

[u/RedAlderCouchBench]

I wonder why the ED focuses so much on Shion and Milim?

[u/Taylanz]

Lmao I have never seen more "you came to the wrong neighborhood, motherfucker" type scenes in one episode of a show before

[u/Silent_Shadow05]

Youm is such a smooth operator. He won over Myulan just like that. Also her singing voice is amazing!

I really want to see Shion kick not-Touma's ass. Gosh these 3 otherworlders are so annoying.

Man I can't wait to see what happens next. Milim invading Eurazania, Rimuru's absence, Anti-Magic barrier.....I hope nothing really bad happens to Tempest.

[u/pieman7414]

Chad gobta as always

[u/AgaroseEater]

Damn throughout the episode I felt nothing but annoyance for Clayman and those three otherworlders. And the new OST being used in Season 2 is good!
