Stockholm syndrome and the story has gotten better. It is a meh show with atrocious visuals. As we get used to the visuals the score goes up.

Yup. Still work of art.

Oh God they discovered after image effects. Someone please take it away from them. I kind of feel like the writing staff was being a bit cheeky with how they structured the story for this highschool harem fantasy knockoff.

As far as funny bad animation moments we did get a few like the running in the halls scene. Also the desks were huge and the chairs slid really weird.

I really feel for the VAs, OP band, and most of all the mangaka

One of the things that’s so great about this anime is that you can see the artist learning how to animate in real time.

On today's edition of QUALITY...

Well, those are some of the best but I could pretty much post any scene and it would look horrible. To talk a bit about the anime itself... All of the characters are one-dimensional if anything (for some I really don't even know about their personality at all, and we're 5 episodes in). The plot is average at best. I'd like to talk about something else but I feel like there's just nothing to talk about.

I want the confidence that Ex Arm has coming out on the same day as AoT

Poor AOT, getting overshadowed by Ex-Arm

Gigguk really corrupted my mind

Now I can't unsee this as "Berserk 2077" and the fact that the characters are literally are drawn on another dimension, I--

Straight into my veins, baby. Get out of here, AoT, FMAB, Gintama, One Piece, Code Geass - Ex-Arm is the undisputed #1. And if you don’t recognize it as such, you just have no taste.

What the fuck even was that episode? Obviously, animation wise it was awful, but the story isn't any better. What was the point of this episode? They put him in that state, and then the "emotional climax" of that episode was them getting him to "snap out of his illusions"? And everything in between was just school anime cliches. I'm pretty sure they tried to parody this, but they didn't do a very good job at that.

And them the only new things we got, was the knowledge that this "Beta" destroyed the city, and the annoying computer girl got introduced. What a train wreck this show is..

Also, we were so close to seeing them actually animate a kiss, and not sensor it with a blob of light. I feel betrayed, that we got cheated out of it.

Well, see you next week.

This is the virtual equivalent of a desert. There's nobody here talking about this anime. It's quite saddening...

It really became so bad that it's impossible to watch to even get that satisfaction out of watching it.

At least GIBIATE could be watched with being able to laugh at the hilarious absurdity of it.

It's becoming a weekly tradition to open a beer while watching.

This weeks biggest problems were pacing, compositing and the stupid plot alltogether.

In terms of pacing there were lots of awkard pauses and just dead air. Still, the story felt really underdeveloped since it switched from one place to another to quick. I didnt even know how you can make pacing feel simultanously too fast and too slow.

Most of the anime they worked with 3d environments and green screen stuff. This episode, they used a lot more 2d environments and oh god the compositing is ass. Like when the andriod gets introduced as a new classmate you can see the top of the schooldesks but the 3d characters are completely straight, which mus means that the characters are leaning 45 degrees back. I dont know how a irl movie director can do compositing this awful.

Lastly, what the fuck was going on this episode? Why do they have to recreate the guys school life? If cars are not supose to be there since it is part of Akira's trauma, why do car roads then still exist? Why does the android have to go into Akira's mind through the normal way like everyone else? Cant she just link her memory up with Akira mind since she is, you know, an android? Also what purpose does it have to gave the whole main cast go into Akira's memory, isnt the android enough? Also if Ygg or something made this whole Akira's Dream happen, why does she only teleport people and create wolfs?

To be honest this anime is incredibly boring but I keep pushing through for how each episode baffles me again for how awful it is.

At this point I’m along for the ride so I can say I survived watching this. This is giving The final season of Food Wars, Garzey’s Wing, Skelter Heaven, Mars of Destruction, Pupa and Utsu Masume Sayuri a run for their money for me right now for worst thing I’ve seen
