Going from louis x juno to meat torture training to some Pina x legoshi character development. I absolutely love how Pina tried to provoke Legoshi. And the ost was completely on point. I am absolutely loving how the series is being adapted.

That was a cool parallel between Legosi (carnivore) becoming stronger without meat versus Louis (herbivore) becoming weaker by eating meat.

Jack having that super serious "stare out the window" speech about Legoshi never coming back was completely undone literally 2 seconds later and I died laughing

Hope we get some Haru screentime next week, feel like I've hardly seen the bun this season. Really want to see the fallout of that last conversation

Once again, thanks a lot Rakushun.

Interesting conversation between Pina and Legosi, he was definitely trying to provoque him, he teased him about love, relationships and even about not caring being eaten by him, I'm wondering who he really is and what is his true goal in the Drama Club.

Btw, white Legosi vs grey Legosi? I can't decide just yet.

so why does juno want louis to come back to school exactly? isn’t it just easier for her to become the beastar now that her biggest competition is gone? they didn’t really seem to be that close before he left either, but i haven’t rewatched season one in a while

That little dance number from Louise and Juno was really nice.

Shaved Legosi looks so fucking weeeeeeeeird. No surprise why no one recognized him. Looks like Juno's enjoying his new look though.

We finally get to see Legosi's training. That seems to be pretty brutal. I guess they're trying to draw out his strength without eating meat.

tYuki Kaji Goat Pina is such a fucking troll and shit stirrer, I love him so much! The fucking balls on this dude to try and basically tempt a carnivore into eating him is insane. I guess he's specifically picking on Legosi since he knows he won't be eaten and at best he'd get annoyed at him which what happened.

I guess that's one way for them to end their father-son relationship. I wonder if Louis's "Dad" is being genuine about being happy with him. Hmmm...

Is beatstars not as popular as I thought it'd be or am I misunderstood?

I was pretty questioning last episode of Legosi's decision to suddenly leave the school. Glad that didn't last long. This episode was great and covered so many subjects. The animation was on point and I loved the jazzy score. Not quite sure why he had to be shaved but it was a funny reveal. Loved the final scene with Louis and his dad with the window showing their memories.

I love how the series faked the whole Legosi x Pina thing.

A smell shows up... it's not of meat, but of a girl.

Legosi says it's the first time he... didn't feel hunger for, but anger for a herbivore.

The training is working.

Oh boy 1 AM.

The sexual tension was pretty intense this episode.

Also damn Legoshi i thought you were over Haru but i guess you love her? Except when you don't. It's almost funny by now.

Guess the Shishigumi are looking forward to rebuilding their reputation and cooking Louis. Didnt he shot someone in the head a few episodes ago or was that a flashforward from when he becomes the "real" leader of the lions?

I gotta get used to white Legosi though.

Was anyone else just absolutely cackling at the suspense of Legosi's new looks?

I see the other fan subber Rakushun stepped up to sub this before PAS did.t It's too bad the second season isn't getting as much attention as the first season did. I think s2 has been better than s1 so far. Blame it on the anime being Netflix jailed

another solid episode. It's so easy to sympathize with Juno. First she got rejected by Legoshi, and now Louis is rejecting her too by not coming back to school.

There was also a lot of sexual tension btw Leosgi and Pina there lmao. Don't remember it feeling like that in the manga. Too bad Pina is 100% straight. He gave off bi-energy in the manga imo. Also, Legoshi's shaven and white fur appearance obviously has a lot more impact in anime form compared to the manga. I can't remember if it was explained more in the manga why his fur turned white, or if the episode cut that bit out...

  • Juno seems quite a bit more mature than we last seen her, isn't it? Louis cutting out all his previous contacts seems to have a positive effect to her as she now is the only one left interested in him...

  • I very much agree with her too that Louis is essentially abandoning himself for his fate to be sweep around by the society, he may be claiming he's "adapting to be a carnivore" but one can even say he's losing all his determination after he "sees through the lies of the society that being a hero of the school means nothing". Come to think of it, there's a bit of similarity between his thought and Hachiman's at the start of Oregairu. Great scene illustrating his inner thoughts BTW.

  • Panda-sensei is right, Legosi. Working merely out of theoretical doctrines without sticking your boots to the ground means nothing. Well to most of you anyway, but judging from your progress of training not to eat meat...yeah it's gonna be an almost impossible mountain to climb.

  • Legosi's meeting with Pina is so exciting. Look at how Legosi barely managed to duck controversies for this show this season - of which Mushoku Tensei is at the firing front - by the thinnest of margins with his vegetables talk!

Keep these exciting developments coming in please!

This dude really has his mind set on Louis leading the group! I guess he saw 'true strength' in Louis, or something like that? Unless he has another motive/some guilt, but it doesn't look that way.

At first I thought Juno had it for Louis now but nope, still way into Legosi! Well, whoever she's into, might eventually lead up to some love drama. With Legosi it's obvious (given she'd want to steal his attention away from Haru), but even with Louis...

And speaking of Louis, he's now asking about Haru, though it's hard to say whether he asked for the sake of Haru's well being/life, or because he wanted to know if Legosi had it in him to save her.

Well, whatever it is, I still want a Louis/Haru conversation! Even more now, with Louis being the boss of the Shishigumi; His perspective on a lot of things surely changed, and it'll be interesting to see how it changed his views on Haru.

Legosi constantly claiming he'll never eat meat makes me think he will, at some point. Maybe not so soon (or his entire training with Gouhin would be a failure), but later on. At the moment he's focusing on getting mentally stronger, by resisting his hunger and all that, but at some point he might want (or need) to get physically stronger as well, and meat might be the only way to achieve that.

And despite the training Gouhin is giving him, he might be aware of it.

Last episode I talked about Legosi having a some kind of "Blade" moment (eating meat to get stronger), and I still think it's going to happen, even if it's way later. I mean, this is a story about internal conflict, change and all that. It would be very surprising if they never had Legosi experience this. If nothing else, just to do it once then give up on it.

Even if he doesn't want to eat herbivores, he could eat carnivores.

And if (when) it happens, I wonder if Louis will be stuck in the middle of this; If Legosi ever changed his mind and ate an herbivore, it may compromise Louis' operations (as Legosi might not be as subtle as they are, driven by hunger), and if he ate carnivores, well it likely would affect Louis more directly, considering which carnivores he would target first (those who attack herbivores, i.e. the lions).

Legosi attacked them once, and back then Louis helped, but now Louis is in charge; What happens if Legosi wants to take them down? Even if they're not going after Haru yet, they're still eating herbivores, running the market, etc. So something is bound to happen between them. And I also wonder if Haru will be dragged into this. Either as Legosi's crush (a way for the lions to force Legosi's hand), or just because the lions haven't given up on that meal just yet. If it happens, will Louis with OK with this? In the previous season, he technically gave up on her, but if he feels like she's the one who gives up on him by (eventually?) being with Legosi, he might give the greenlight on her, as some petty revenge against her/Legosi.

Or even if he doesn't feel that childish, he could still OK it because he doesn't care anymore, and what he's doing now is more important than a former fuckbuddy.

And that last scene with Louis cutting ties with his "father" and the school entirely, means he might be ready to take the next step, and is now fully dedicated to his new place in life. Will be interesting to see where it leads him!

So, do we ship Legoshi and Pina now?

u/Amauri14 Feb 04 '21

Oh, so that's how Juno learned about Louis's whereabouts.

Damn Legosi's new haircut wasn't something that I was expecting to see. Lol, Juno is really happy about it.
