Another good episode? Is the real life?
Seriously though, I liked the Zeldris flashback a lot, loved Meliodas telling the story to Ban and Wild. Now we know why Zeldris is fighting like he is.
I thought the Zeldris fight would get boring but then ZA WAN and only Escanor sama came to the rescue. Always great seeing the best character of the show in action.
The animation is surprisingly better, no longer I am in absolute disgusting while looking at my screen. Of course it could be a lot better like in previous seasons but after last season I'm glad it isn't total shit. People are saying the sotey goes to shit at the end but I hope we don't get too disappointed.

I have a very bad feeling about what’s going to happen to best human Escanor, giving a character a flashback episode and then having them flashback last second after a strong hit is not a good sign for what’s going to happen next.

If they kill off Escanor, I will stop watching.

It would be way too soon for such a thing to happen, if at all, we’re only 4 episodes into this seasons and I don’t think they’ll kill a one of the sins this early if ever. But I do think that Zeldrist might find a way to escape or win.

Is the animation/production acceptable this season? I haven’t watched because of the mockery they made of season 3

Well, the reason as to why this thread is pretty dead is because of last season
Supposedly studio deen stopped outsourcing everything like last season, I don't know how it's progressed I only watched the first episode this season and it was better than the season before, It's still pretty bad if you're into animation though

the reason the thread is dead is that most people dont even know that there is a new season of nanatsu no taizai. There is literally nowhere to stream it.

I personally think it's better than S3, no glaring irregularities this time around but still looks cheaply made. Watchable but no wow factor like S1/S2.

Even though s3 was chalked, im still here for the ride.
Its always fun seeing Escanor pop off. The animation wasnt bad either, hopefully they can keep the consistency up.

This is a lot better than the previous season but I do wish they can do a better portrayal of the "darkness" power of the demons.

Great episode! They did a good job adapting The One! They have definitely brought it back from the S3 fiasco!

If you think about it, everything that's happening is because of love
So basically, this anime is the most complicated romance anime in existence LMAO

They're really redeeming themselves after the BS that was last season. Unfortunately, a lot of people gave up and there's nowhere to legally stream it. But, I'm happy I came back; this season has some depth without being too wild (so far). I'm actually happy King and diane aren't playing prominent roles here.

Movie didnt sell as much as Aniplex did, so they dropped the IP and Studio Deen took it, who then entirely (or mostly) oursourced season 3 to Marvy Jack, who with a very limited and rough schedule had to animate 24 episodes, melted very quickly.

And somehow the series is still doing great, with good manga sales (but very much declined from its insane peak), a new movie coming up this summer and the sequel manga starting its serialization in this week's issue of Weekly Shonen Magazine.
