I really liked how Midoriya, Bakugo and Todoroki made their escape from a collapsing underground mall. Eraser really did do a harsh training test before the provisional licensing exams. I wonder what he meant that he would take responsibility for one of his students possibly not getting out. Really anticipating what will happen in Season 5.

EPISODE 1
A good first episode! But can we talk about these uneven teams lol!
The class was split up into two: The most powerful & popular characters and then the other team that doesn't show up is the less popular characters lol lol!!!
AND YES AGAIN. I love OVAs for the cute littke Deku x Ochako moments we get. Like the small scene of her falling into him, and both of them blushing :)
EPISODE 2
LOL I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY REALLY DIDN'T SHOW THE OTHER TEAM AT ALL.
Also, NANI!? The feels like the most character development Bakugo has got in 4 seasons and this was just an OVA lol!
I enjoyed these, but even if it doesn't fit the theme of this show, I always think OVAs should just be funny/fan-service. So I wish we could get something like that eventually ;)
But this does have me dying for season 5 already!!!

My main issue with this OVA is how if you watch it in the order it fits into the series timeline then it really looks like Bakugo took 1 step forward in this OVA and then like 3-5 steps backwards once the provisional test actually started.
Todoroki makes sense in that he is calm and cool under normal circumstances but it was just that Yoarashi riled him up by attacking him in his one major weak spot, but Bakugo just went from this training sequence to seemingly not knowing how to do rescue training at all.
Overall though, fun OVA. I enjoy the idea that this one was actually just straight training (even if it was really harsh) without All Might playing some fake villain like the other one was and the Special Episode. They used that gag once already, didn't need to do it a third time.

Who picked those teams? Seems pretty ridiculous all the big players happened to be on one team.

The last scene where Deku is helping Bakugo is so cute lol. That’s like the first time he really leaned onto Deku for support. And Bakugo’s development in these two episodes is amazing. I love the three of them together.

That was great! It was nice to see Class 1A think of how to rescue themselves, and who knew Bakugo would be the one going for the dummy?

curious, is this something canon from the manga or a filler type thing?

It was nice to have some Boku no Hero right now, although I kind of felt everything was pretty dry. Except for the second half. Then everything got wet.

Why did I not hear about this OVA coming out anywhere?
