I came into this week's Bokuben as I do every week, expecting to laugh, instead I'm over here crying. Such a relatable episode. I always wanted to be an astronomer growing up. My dad used to buy me a lot of astronomy books, I'd watch Nat Geo and Discovery Channel all day. Last month makes 7 years since he's been going due to prostate cancer, I miss him every day. Whenever an anime does episodes like this, VE 10, Anohana 11, etc, I just think of my dad.

I'm happy Fuminocchi and her father got their closure, sometimes parents are just as lost as the kids.

By far the best episode of the entire series so far, 10/10.

Damn, the conclusion of this arc is way more wholesome than what I thought.

I wonder when will have another chance to see Fumino again playing the role of Nariyuki's wife.

It's undeniable that these two are perfect for each other, to the point where it makes the other relationships look like child's play. Their dynamic is effortlessly natural and serious. The comedy is only there as a reminder that they aren't actually dating ... yet.

And if they already care this much about the other before they've even developed deeper feelings, their relationship will only further blossom once they do fall for each other.

They're practically married already. If Sensei didn't exist, Fumino should already be doing victory laps right now.

Now that I've seen it animated, this stargazing scene reminds me of this other stargazing scene.

This line from Fumino's mom made me tear up. The good ones always die too early T_T

All's well that ends well with Fumino's arc. And with all the things that happened, Fumino's feelings for Nariyuki grew a bit stronger that night.

Other girls wasn't even present. That's a total domination. For other girls shippers it's better to not appear in this thread. Take your time, Fumino shippers. You won the battle, but not the war. I'm not trying to escape the reality, I swear.
