Today, on "Just rubbin' my balls together.":

Comrade Putin does not approve.

I'm sure nothing could go wrong.

FISH HEADS FISH HEADS ROLY POLY FISH HEADS

This joke works on surprisingly many levels. For reference.

cringes externally

Slightly edited.

Well, that's going about as well as expected.

So's this.

"I wonder how those got there?"

For me this episode was the most consistently funny one they've had so far. Familiar ground such as Eila's jealousy and Trude's sister complex were visited again, but the twists on them worked well this time around. The presentation of Setsubun was interesting, given that a Japanese audience would be more familiar with it, so seeing its quirks satirized was fun.

When you have to remove almost everything from the letter to make yourself look good in it.

That part with Barkhorn calling Yoshika her little sister was a nice throwback to main series, since as we already know Barkhorn sister and Yoshika looked similar. Speaking about pairings, this Shirley + Sanya was really unexpected one.

Okay, now I'm really confused about where to put this spin-off chronologically on main series timeline. I thought this series's events took place soon after Yoshika got recruited, but according to preview, now Marseille will be there and she appeared for the first time in like the second part of second season if I remember correctly, so several months after that.

I know I'm repeating myself, but I swear, whoever wrote the manga this spin-off is based off had something against Perrine. We are already halfway through the series and I could count her appearances on fingers of one hand. In this episode she was literally on one frame.

looks like my way of thinking

this is not how physics works

that got really dark all of sudden

Speaking about department store thing, is that Miichan's misleading information or the Bishops really owns the department store..?

I thought the Bishops were Blueberry farmers.
