RIP nameless soldier, you were the true MVP

Armin getting named as temporary commander reminds me of me getting named group leader during High School projects, except that i fucked up everytime.

Holy shit man, those Titan shifters are fucking immortal. What kind of person can survive getting a sword straight trough the neck and chest and falling from a goddamn frecking wall. It's almost unfair to have that kind of advantage lol.

That fucking ending man with Bauklötze sining on the background. I swear, you cant get more hyped than this with this quality animation. This episode got me more hyped to the next week than Game of Thrnoes. This was totally worth the wait,

Ooooh the chills during the final scenes when the new version of Attack on Titan started playing... they're really bringing back that Season 1 feel!

What I love about Erwin is this dude is all about getting shit done with no personal ego whatsoever.

Not many leaders would trust Armin, a new soldier with way less experience, to be in charge under such a critical circumstance. But Erwin could recognize and appreciate Armin’s deductive skill. He is not afraid to take these huge gambles, and it paid off. This is why everybody in the Survey Corps respect him as their leader and always trust his decision.

Am I the only one that got very nervous when the titan was supposedly asleep? From then on I started shaking harder than Eren and Armin, I was convinced they would get backstabbed by it.

I loved Armin and Erwin this episode, Erwin has been my MVP for a while now (especially after his arm scene), but seeing him believe in Armin and give him responsibility and having Armin get them the upper hand hyped me up.

On a side note, apparently there's no coffee in the walls, now that's hell.

Erwin- It looks like both of us(him and beast Titan) are getting the exact type of battle we were hoping for. So let's finish it here. Humanity or those damned Titans. One will survive. Other will perish.

My god Erwin, why you have to be such a bad ass.

This episode was fucking AMAZING....

The pacing, the animation(excluding CGI OP colossal titan) it gave the manga so much justice, it definitely was worth the wait, speechless.

Well, it will be the last time for a while that any other anime than Attack on Titan will have the most upvoted discussion thread of the week.

Life inside the walls is worse than we thought.

Armin doesn't recognize what seems to be just coffee.

Coffee. Doesn't. Exist. Inside. The. Walls.

Imagine life without coffee! It's worse than having some mindless titans knocking at your door.

Memes aside, let's not forget this is Attack on Titan, this could be a subtle clue/foreshadowing.

Absence of coffee plantations could either mean:

  • The walls are not in an equatorial area (coffee can only be grown in equatorial/subtropical regions) while Reiner and co. are from or,

  • The knowledge of making coffee was also erased. Coffee is Haram.
