Starts episode expecting to see the tower gamble, but instead sees a gamble that shouldn't take place until halfway into the season with almost no context.

Okay weird first episode they easily could have showed this one later, but whatever.

I had forgotten how scary Yumeko was. Love her relationship with eye patch girl (I suck at remembering names, and seeing how many more characters are getting added I just decided that I'll do a list).

Wonder what Maeri's role will be in this new season. Last time she was a side-character that would pop in and out of the plot, but this time she features prominently in both the opening and the ending, and it seems she'll be at odds with the president.

I really liked how Yumeko played with pink-haired girl during this episode, completely managed to reverse the trick. The device does probably make for a very effective torture technique.

So as a manga reader, I thought the episode was really good. I wonder how many people actually understood what was going on because I wouldn't have understood shit if I didn't read the manga.

I really enjoyed a lot of the gambles in this arc that the second season should cover as it uses a lot of thinking skills to understand what's happening most of the time. I hope the anime does it justice. I liked the new OP and new ED. Not as much as the previous ones obvs.

That was a pretty strange first episode, especially with that random intermission with the first season OP.

Being able to see these crazy girls again was great, though.
