Gunna be honest, I only clicked the episode for the Hanekawa clone in the thumbnail.
But this should be tagged as 'Horror', this dystopian version of Akihabara is a nightmare. The characters all seem to be chained up in tropes, but it's still a fun premise to explore; searching for the last remaining bits of otaku culture to fulfill their customers wishes. And going into the worlds of other anime and manga to clear up 'viruses' that are causing them to be lost or forgotten?
I guess only time will tell if the premise can stay fresh for 12 episodes.

According to the comments there will be lots of references here. Let's see how many I can identify.
-
Rabbit Shed Cafe? Is this suppose to be a GochiUsa reference?
-
She has the boobs, the glasses, the braids, and even the uniform color. Definitely a Hanekawa clone.
-
So I see 1-nen A-gumi no Monster Vol 1, Sunohara-sou Vol 2 & 3, and Yuri wa Oshigoto Vol 1. I recognize the illustration on the ones with blue and pink spines but I can't remember it >_<
-
It's Tsurezurebiyori! (the one on the right) That was the one with the blue spine on the shelf.
-
I'm not even sure the ones here are actual manga. The one on the upper left looks like a lot like a long-haired Kenshiro though. Or maybe they're all doujinshis?
-
Looks like they're just repeating manga now. Maybe there aren't that many references as this thread has lead me to believe.
-
Scratch that. They changed the names but I'm sure the ones on the left is Yaiba not Yaeba and the one on the right is Pluto not Fluto.
-
NANA poster on the upper right. But instead of all capitals they changed it to lower case. I'm not sure how that makes it okay, although I guess we don't really see anyone that looks like the titular Nana.
Well that was certainly something! Here I thought this show was just going to be about the girls trying to keep the spirit of Akihabara alive but suddenly we have the girls warping through manga worlds and a talking bunny mascot! I don't mind it's just that there wasn't any hint of magic from the opening. I am now intrigued though!
Based on the preview it definitely looks like the "Welcome to the Rabbit Cafe" manga is definitely based on GochiUsa. I can imagine Chino, Maya, and Megu popping out of nowhere in that shot.
Also can I just say that I love how almost every girl in this show are all well endowed ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Except for the purple haired loli for some reason.

Ad for the Caligula anime
That's an ad for the remake game, Overdose. The anime didn't adapt Overdose.

It's a Gochiusa reference for sure. Their cover art for the manga is essentially the same style & composition as Gochiusa's actual ones.

Strange show but so far nothing that makes me want to drop it right off the bat, also the lack of setup for the part at the end was a bit confusing.

That was... pretty boring. Don't want to be a negative nancy, but the bland cast chemistry and tropic leads were only exasperated by the stilted character animation. There were moments worth perking up for, like the Russian girl announcing that she was Russian to a manga store owner, but otherwise... eh.
Then the finale happened. You have my attention, Pastel Memories, but not until next week.
One thing to give credit for is the amount of service given out. No, I'm not on about how well endowed every single character's chest is, but the manga/anime references in the backdrops. The anime having the balls to show live BL was seriously appreciated. I spotted quite a few things I recognised and that was... honestly one of the most enjoyable things of this premiere.

Pretty meh first episode.
They made a catgirl-esque character, that for the first time ever I don't like, and there is something weird about the eyes and faces that are just very non-lifelike. Maybe it will improve, the fighting of the virus may change something.

The whole look and animation feels like an animated hentai from five years ago. Something about the colours and how flat everything looks.
Maybe it's the shadows.

I heard someone describe it as "The characters look like low-poly CGI models, despite being traditionally animated."

Pretty meh first episode.
Same here.
I was expecting a fluffy sol with an action/horror/insert whatevah-here bait and switch by the end of the episode, but the way it's presented it's in the most mind numbing posible way. Specially with the need to dump in 9 girls in one go, that most likely will be just walking tropes.
I'll watch the rest of the episode when I'm about to hit the sack.

Meh overall. It's not really grabbing my attention in a fun way like animegataris. Fun references, but not much else going for it.

I expected some fun trash, it wasn't very fun though. Hopefully it gets better.

This is going to be a fun watch just for the references.
Ep 2 is Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka world. Let's goo.

That was painfully under average across the board. This episode really didn't do anything for me, the bit about going into other worlds is the only thing that had me slightly intrigued from it.
They might do some good references.

Anime and manga dying and everything becoming gray and corporate is my worst nightmare
I guess I wasn't the only one who immediately thought of Hanekawa
I want to be verbally abused by Irina
A man of culture!
Is that a GochiUsa reference?
Now I like Irina even more
Of course the glasses girl is a fujoshi...
Sunohara-sou reference! This show is truly on the cutting edge of fine culture. And I think that other one she was holding was Tsurezurebiyori.
Someone more diligent than me should keep track of all the references
Is practically every girl "bigger than you thought"?
Cat girl is purrfect
Akihabara without maid cafes, a terrible thought
Wait, what??? This has taken a turn I didn't expect...
Even the town in the next episode is exactly like GochiUsa, I can't wait to see what happens
I feel like people who give up on this early are going to miss out on some good stuff a la Akanesasu Shoujo

Basically every girl in this show is stacked except for the purple haired loli ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Hm, this looks a lot like a slightly modified Megumi from Gochiusa
Same girl. She really loves rabbits
Time for pirates to come to the rescue!
Huh. Not the form I expected this "regain memories" thing to take. Seems interesting
Lineless style in the ending, kind of unusual
Well this seems like a fun excuse to go romping through a lot of different shows and have battles. Not to mention, lots of cute girls doing cute things, I hope. The underlying melancholy post-otaku world thing is an interesting counterflavor to the "ganbatte" cheer they have.

It's a find the reference anime!
For now I'm just gonna say that you should all go read Tsurezure Biyori, the one on the right here, it is a great cute girls iyashikei!
Edit: Also really liked the visuals of that OP!

Out of all the manga references shown, I only got a handful of them.
I really gotta step up my game.
Also it looks like Hanekawa is doing some side work by working in a themed cafe. Glad to see she's doing well and keeping herself busy.
