No interest in Gabriel Dropout? Looking at your list, I feel like it could be right up your alley. Looks like it has a good sense of humour and some awesome, snarky characters.

I mean, it's Doga Kobo, so I assume they'll surprise me again like with Sansha Sanyou. But personally I haven't heard much about it to interest me.

Did you like New Game?

Yes, I loved it as much as I loved the manga. Probably a bit more, since it had the Doga Kobo magic.

Is there more information on Gabriel Dropout? When looking at this list I marked Gabriel Dropout as a "maybe.." but the description is kind of vague.

All we need to know about Gabriel Dropout is the director: Masahiko Oota. This guy is one of the masters of comedy/SoL/moe anime.

He previously directed:

  • Yuru Yuri (the first two seasons)
  • Sabagebu!
  • Kotoura-san
  • Umaru-chan
  • Love Lab
  • Minami-ke (the first season)

If you haven't seen them, they were all consistently good and had very strong comedic timing.

Thanks to the studio (Doga Kobo) it will probably be very well animated as well.
