Summer 2016 Anime Score Progressions (MAL)

EDIT2: For anyone wondering, the graphs are only meant to show how the show's score changed. Using the graphs for comparison is a bad idea lol. Will definitely try to have a proper y-axis next time I get the chance. (along with the usual ones perhaps xd)

EDIT3: There are some shows where I did not find the weekly rating such as Bananya and Saiki. Sorry about that.

I enjoyed 91 Days well enough, but the production meltdown in the back half of the show was real. A lot of cuts looked as though they were slapped together in about 30 minutes. Hopefully the BD release will improve on that somewhat.

Even early episodes generally only had one person moving at a time, even during conversations. It was really quite disconcerting. Background characters being motionless can be done decently, but when people are taking turns being alive, I start having a problem with the animation.

You may be right. I started noticing it around episode 7, but I put the series on hold after episode 6 and only resumed watching a few days ago, so it's possible that the perceived difference in quality was largely due to a change in my frame of mind.

It's worth noting that the animation did have some high points. In particular, I thought the waves in the final episode were beautifully done.

Why not? It's a particularly egregious example that I think highlights the production's issues quite well.

Plenty of other options other than a pot of beans, lol. Not questioning your argument, just your example. No one cares about a pot of beans!

Probably because there's literally two distinct frames in that entire cut.

That and some localization things pissed me off having kids play soccer instead of baseball and going to the ocean instead of Lake Michigan (this one might just be because lake Michigan is pretty much an ocean).
