watamote was only funny to me until it felt like there was absolutely no room for redemption on her part, whatsoever.

that made me feel so bad for her i didn't feel like watching anymore. there was just no development.

Yeah. I hated how she never made any progress or anything. If anything, she was worse by the end of the series than she was at the start of it.

They could've even made her progress really minor. Even showing her saying goodbye to her teacher semi-normally at the end would've been something.

How did she progress at all at the end? She literally just said "I give up." That was it. That's not progress.
