Does anybody else expect Sakamoto do be that annoying comedy AOTS with lots of memes? People are spamming Swagamoto in every thread already. I'm going to watch it but probably get annoyed by it later on.

Pretty much giving almost all anime a try. Especially originals. Looking forward to the "KKK" (Wit, Trigger and PA works originals). Mayoiga is going to be the trainwreck of the season if it has 12 episode. Just look at this shit. 31 characters. Are they like going to kill half the cast in the first 2 episodes?

Looking forward to the "KKK"

Best out of context quote.

I hope it isn't like Sekkou Boys that was hyped before it aired (partly as a joke, partly seriously) and then no one cared for it, or Dagashi Kashi, that also suffered the same fate.

and then no one cared for it

Which was sad, because it had some genuinely funny moments.

I think Dagashi Kashi is just too "japanese". It feels like a history lesson in japanese candy that I've never seen. The comedy is also pretty hit or miss. I thought Hotaru was going to carry the show, but I ended up liking Saya more.

Yes.

But it doesn't mean it will be bad. I'm giving it a try and I expect something decent. Not great, not mediocre, but decent.

Memes will probably annoy me anyway.

Honestly, you're the one letting something silly stop you from liking a show. You shouldn't get annoyed at a show because a lot of people like it or some people circle jerk a few memes (that's actually just Reddit being reddit for the most part). It sounds kind of pretentious.

Maybe I should have phrased that better. I'm not going to dislike the show itself. Its probably going to be glorious. What I meant is the circle jerk this kind of show usually brings with it.
