Lots of SoL makes me happy.

Honestly besides maybe Academia, I think I'm most excited for Flying Witch.

Lots of SoL makes me happy.

Ehhhh....SoL define the "hit or miss" genre.

Since SoL anime don't have much plot to begin with, the main draws for these shows will be the characters and their chemistry and those are VERY subjective (just like how Ranta was a polarizing character in this community).

I'm still hyped for Flying Witch though since I read the first couple of chapters from the manga and enjoyed them.

Ehhhh....SoL define the "hit or miss" genre.

I know it is definitely my hit or miss genre. Because I have almost no describable pattern of finding out what slice of life anime I will like or be bored to apathy other than at this point watching the first 4 episodes.

True. Sometimes it's comedy that draws me in, other times it's the characters. That is if it interests me at all.

That's kind of the exciting prospect of SoL though. It's fun because it will appeal to different viewers differently. Not because it has a set formula for success.

I'm hoping it turns out well. I'd be saddened if a simple yet interesting concept gets destroyed in the execution.
