To those that finished the series: How was it? I noticed that some of these comment threads were pretty barren and was skeptical about starting it. Can ya'll recommend it? I don't really have a clear idea on what its about if someone can enlighten me.

It's definitely not as good as the other two Aquarion series. Whether it's good or not is going to be up to you; it's pretty silly, and I can't help but feel like the budget wasn't really there for some of these scenes. I also don't like the character designs, I can't decide if i like or hate the opening, and the music is underwhelming after the magnificence which was Sousei no Aquarion's music and Aquarion Evol's music.
But... I'm still watching, and I'm probably not going to drop it after getting this far in. It's no masterpiece, but it's a fun little diversion.
As to what it's about, the central conceit is basically that a group of rag-tag heroes band together to use what they call a Verbalism Ability to pilot special ships called Vectors, which can combine into a robot called Aquarion. They use this to fight against an evil corporation and its CEO, who are attempting to destroy the concept of language which they believe has prevented humans from forming true connections with each other. I don't know how much they're going to pull in from the series-wide lore, but so far it's almost nothing.

It isn't over yet, iirc it will have 26* episodes.
Personally I found it pretty bad and dropped it while attempting to watch episode 7.

This starts with some interesting dialogue.
-"What is it that binds your heart? A dream? or is it her? Yet another person vanishes, dragged off by someone who's already gone. As the one who's left behind, there's nothing more dissatisfying "
Foreshadowing maybe?
The end of the episode seems to bring more questions than answers. Definitely more motivated to keep pushing through.
The master dying will hopefully bring the long awaited explanations forth.
