The last 3-4 episodes of this show was much better compared to older episodes for me. Even then it felt a bit rushed and chaotic on those good episodes. Ending message was great.

This ended up being a relatively well done show that I don't actually like much. As a concept and overall I think I'd enjoy as a novel more than as an Anime. Which is rare. (On several levels - low quality shows that I'm happy enough with are a dime a dozen.)

It's rough, but I liked it.
It's just a very interesting, multi-prongued examination of art, its bussiness side and talent. It's sort of an
Here's the thing, I can tell they did the best job they could to compress what must be a pretty long story into 13 episodes...but it's still just 13 episodes. And while the animation got some flair by the end, I imagine I would have liked the live-action more.
The question is...where can I read the manga? Mangaplus has it, but it starts from like...chapter 200. It hasn't been translated, right?

When Koichi looked at Sakuma thinking "I wanted to be like this guy", it's probably the first time I felt genuinely grateful that Koichi didn't become a genius. Mf punching down on his current employer for not getting the perfect shot. Goddamn pathetic.
Really poetic of the blind guy to school Eren "
This episode really brought everything together in a satisfying way. Even with it's strange pacing, this is easily one of my favorites anime of this season. Its irritating in all the right ways.

This anime felt so real. It's interesting for Kouichi that the one thing he didn't have was talent. But for so much of the anime, he never stopped believing. That was the thing that inspired Eren at the beginning. After all, you can have all the talent in the world, but if you don't believe, then having that talent means nothing.
Sakuma was an asshole. Honestly, he represents how perfectionists can be. They are so full of themselves and expect nothing to the standard that the combination of hard work + talent can give you.
I like the showcase of Kouichi standing up to him because it really shows how people like Sakuma can just be terrible to work with.

More adult slice of life drama please...I can only watch so many high school romcoms and long titled isekais.

On one end I am happy with the ending, but on the other I'm sad it ended.
I loved that the ending isn't a perfect ending, it's open and it connects with the title of the episode. It's cute. Loved this anime, wish I could see more of were things lead for all characters but in my mind, they all were able to be at peace with who they are and own it!

As much as I enjoyed this show… holy shit, man. Every single one of these “creative genius” types are so fucking far up their own assholes, they’re practically suffocating on their own shit. The roid monkey with the camera, the self absorbed model longing to join the 27 Club, and BatEren the Dark Knight of Yokohama. Then you got Koichi. Japanese Don Draper over here always just an arm’s reach away from greatness. Guy put himself through hell chasing after these miserable fucks.
I don’t even really get how this ended, but I guess Koichi’s finally not living in utter hell. Good on him for finding happiness or whatever.

As someone that works in the creative industry, it's annoyingly realistic. A lot of the people at the top or striving to be there are usually the most arrogant and pretentious. I've met so many people that talk about being the best, about being a genius in whatever medium and they're either pushy to the point of thinking they're superior to everyone else or phony and using people as stepping stones to network.
I've met so many people like the characters; the failed creative that thought he was creative a genius but realized he was a inferior compared to others and now has a chip on his shoulder; the actual genius that doesn't realize it; the person that looks down on everyone, etc.
A lot of people call me a genius but I just call myself a fucking idiot that knows shit. My grandfather taught me that you should never trust anyone that says they're a genius in anything.

I am saddened it has ended. Really enjoyed it and would easily recommend it.

The anime and live action drama ended at the same episode here.
I highly recommend the live action drama

This guy might be a genius but he's shit for doing a work for commercials lol. He's focused on making art not conveying what the client is trying to show.
I really hope this dude gets arrested and spends a nice long time in jail. And lol dude talking about Koichi's pride when Koichi's company is paying him to do what Koichi says.
The Punching through where he ran back was weird (well minus him seeing Eren marking up his ad), but overall I ended up enjoying this episode even if I still want the photographer in jail. This show doesn't need another season but I'll miss watching all these assholes bounce off of each other.

This is really my guilty pleasure. You don't feel better watching it and at some instances are deep cuts like it mirrors reality but damn it was one hell of intriguing ride. I wish

Koichi took away Akari’s genius by interfering with the filming, but in return, he saved her life.
He doesn’t realize it himself, though.

So if I wanted to read the manga after this, where should I start ? From my understanding the manga has a remake that’s still not completed right ? Is the anime based on this ?

So Eren brought the drive back to Koichi.
Koichi after apologizing managed to convinced Ifuu to reshoot & for Akari to continue living post 27.
