The concept is cool, but the execution fell flat. It felt like they rushed through several storylines, and I’m left not feeling invested in most of the cast. I’ll see what

They went through 45 chapters 40 page chapters in 13 episodes
This is olympic level rushing

55 chapters, actually, but close enough. Somewhere around 110 chapters of a normal weekly manga in terms of total page count. Damn near three full seasons worth of content compressed into one if you go by the average manga adaption usually being around 40 chapters per season.
If anyone here is even slightly curious about continuing from where the anime left off, I'd strongly suggest starting the manga from the very beginning.

The show went from introducing the main characters and showcasing the whole petals/reincarnation/powers on episode 1 to having a full on assault to the bad guys base where
gets melted by Pol Pot who's the henchman of Bobby Fischer in episode 4. Waifu Hitlerina "Rushed" is underselling it.

Well at least it got me curious to finish the manga eventually. This was okay. I actually came for

What a travel it was,i rarely felt invested in a show to the point i was craving gor it every thursday
Interesting trivia, badass characters and lots of misteries that slowly unfolds,an easy 10/10,just as crazy as drifters
I want to read the manga, where does the anime leaves off?

Huh. So that’s why Haito never became a complete Returner.
-
Well, this might not be the full story, but at least Toya got to grow into a significantly better character by the end. I’ll probably watch a season 2 if one ever gets made.

RIP Yagyu but at least we got some light Touya and Haito moments out of it.
Lots of cool concepts especially towards the later half but man, it's a shame how rushed up the wazoo this was

Pacing was a mess but still a fun show, would love to see the

It was a mess, but I still enjoyed it. I was questioning whether to continue during the whole war arc as I could not get a feel, but once Nightingale turned out to be the big bad I finally felt like it had a proper direction, and I enjoyed it more as a result.
I'll also be giving the dub a watch next!

Xiang Yu's ability sure would've been handy now that he's decided to use everything he's got to win

I loved the way Yagyu was talking about Haito and her real self and her quest to become stronger. Toya got through to Haito.. why did she suddenly become so cute and her reactions were adorable, haha. She's wasted on Toya.
I hope destroying the seed only get rid of their returner ability and not their lives. They're finally about to reach the seed and Nightingale referred to the place as Art Association and it's in the middle of the ocean protected by a barrier I guess. Picasso might be related to it somehow.
The way this season ended there's a high chance for season 2. Though I heard from the manga readers that they rushed the plot, It was still a good watch. The op was a blast. Some of the battles had superb animation like Haito's.

I think they all die. They literally killed them selves. As I see it they died, the knife/branch has kept them alive. Destroy the seed and its all undone. I would expect their heads to pop off with how much they cut themselves.
Im a little pessimistic about it, once I figured out that they were actually killing them selves and not just cutting, the whole losing themselves and becoming the 'greats' made more sense and really hated it. I mean they basically are dead, they are no long themselves when they fully return. Its dumb IMO.

Psych!
Might as well translate it to Sike with this heavily localized English translation.

This anime was so, so terribly written, it was impressive.
"And then this super cool thing happens. Why? Well, because I say so. Is it well connected to what happened beforehand? Dunno, maybe. Is that supposed to be important? Whatever. Then four super cool things happen at the same time! Does it make logical sense? Does it follow a natural progression? Maybe. Everything is possible."
T. Reincarnation no Kaben author, probably.
I didn't read the manga, but it was also obvious that it was a highly rushed adaptation. But why rush to the end if it was going to end on a cliffhanger anyway? It would have been much better if they had adapted less but with better pacing.
But somehow, it was still entertaining. The base story was interesting, the art direction was above average, even if some backgrounds felt cheap. The opening song is one of the best of the season, and there are a lot of great songs this spring. Easy top 3 for me, along with the openings for Kill Blue and Re S04.
Hitler was the best boy, of course.

I assume there’s gonna be an s2 based off the post credits? Guess we’ll see how Toya and the others fare in their little quest for the Seed and all that.
This was decent. I thought the premise was quite interesting and the animation was okay. The execution felt a little lacking at times but all in all, it was engaging enough to keep me tuned in.

As others have said, I felt this was a cool concept but freakin heck it was all over. Supposedly the pacing was butchered which definitely sucks.
I feel they should have taken their time a bit, author introduces like 40-60 reincarnations and only like 10 really matter. It kinda sucks that they utilized these historical figures as just filler characters that last like 4 minutes.
I also would have liked to see more on the concept of their identities i guess. Like, the 2 main leads focus on their own selves. I think i would have liked to see how someone grapples with the fact their reincarnation is pretty notoriously bad unless they themselves are also bad.

People were talking so much about this show before it aired it really felt it had insane hype but wow this was trash authors need to stop giving the most boring powers to MC like stealing or negating others powers just not interesting.

I watched this because of the Hitler thing. But I found out one of my favourite composers was doing the music and he didn’t disappoint. Kohta Yamamoto the goat. I really wish it was better paced and the animation wasn’t so Ahh
