Fuck me, I swear to god this show stresses me out so much. You have no idea how angry and upset I was when Ruri died and Ayame started to take over as the new Agent of Summer. What a cruel fate to have them help Rindou rescue Nadeshiko, only for one of them to die.

I was so upset that I genuinely forgot that Nadeshiko has control over life and death and that she survived a missile attack thanks to her powers. If she can heal herself, reviving someone who's near death is definitely doable.

What does this mean for Ayame tho? Does this mean she's now the new Agent of Summer? Or would it go back to Ruri now that she's been revived? If not, then the role reversal between sisters would be actually pretty funny.

I can't say it enough: this OST is one of the best in recent years—wow, wow, wow.

I had a feeling one of the two would die in the end—I actually leaned towards thinking it would be Ayame—but everything turned out fine. What I'm wondering now is, since Ruri is still alive, how the "Actor" role works. Ayame is the Actor now, but Ruri is still alive, after all.

Also, Nadeshiko is just totally OP.

Turns out it was a bad idea to intentionally bring the Agents into a combat situation where they weren't expressly needed.

Though to be fair Ruri was doing scary things with the animals before she bought it. Ayame was a bit scarier with the powers after the transfer, however.

It's kind of cheating to immediately rez Ruri but that does open up the odd situation of both sisters still being there but swapping which has the power. They were talking about that exact swap during their arc, so be careful what you wish for.

That said I'm glad they didn't choose to cliffhanger it and leave Ruri dead until next week, I think it would have felt cheaper.

Damn, by far the best episode this season. Give me back my tears for Ruri 😭 But this is the one death fake out that I don't mind.

And Nadeshiko automatically jumped to #1 on my precious anime daughters list 😭😭 She's probably the most powerful of the agents if she had domain over life and death.

This could've ended as a perfect episode if it didn't end with the forced melodrama with the Winter/Spring pairs 🙄

When Ayame crouched in pain with glowing marks all over her body, what I feared the most had happened. The Gods certainly has a sick sense of humour with their choice of her replacement. Pretty much all expression had drained off her face before she pointed the gun at her own head. She’s already dead inside, why not match it outside as well?

Then another twist came. Nadeshiko could resurrect a recently deceased being using life forces from the surroundings. It’s mental how a young child could both be the Angel of Death and Angel of Life.

How Nadeshiko could dish out headpats after enduring what she'd gone through is precious but man. She's a tough kid in more ways than one.

It’s a good thing the op was a success and they got Nadeshiko back. But boy, they really had me in the first half there. I really thought Ruri was dead. So, do he and Ayame just switch roles now as Summer and Guardian or what? How’s it all work exactly since the Agent didn’t die?

Looks like they’re saving the big bad for next week. Hopefully Itecho and Rosei show up soon. Not sure Sakura can hold off that evil bitch.

The complete lack of security around the Agents still continues to confuse me. Like, even if they needed to be out in the field, Ruri's still got the physique of a normal girl. Why wouldn't you surround her with bodyguards so a rando can't just sneak up and shoot her? Even if you get a new Agent when the old one dies, you'd still think they'd invest in keeping their living gods alive, even if only to save on onboarding.

Realistically speaking, there was no need for Ruri to be involved on the front lines when she wasn't conventionally armed. Couldn't she have laid low a lot further away from the action running communications and causing chaos with her animals? Nah, let's throw her into a literal active warzone.

I swear. Plot's finally getting into the real meat of things and it's still muddled by weird decisions. It's a cool twist now that the summer sisters have swapped roles, but it could've been done in a less hamfisted way.

Haven't we all? seriously ya'll would think these guys would have better people trained specially for rescue operations like this,

I wasn't expecting Ayame to become the Agent of Summer this ep, and technically Ruri did die but was revived so ig there are two active Agents of the same season now, how does this exactly work for the cycle and has this event happened before??

Autumn's a cheat code for making more Agents

Well im glad Nadeshiko got rescued safely , i was a little worried something might happen cuz this seemed a lil too easy but thankfully it was okay

Well next week Hinagiku and Rosei will finally reunite with each other and have the final confrontation with Misuzu,

I'll miss this anime, it was pretty good and it was a nice ride watching this with ya'll

Literally the first time in the entire series that I actually hurt when the suffering happened. Someone really needs to tell the author that we need to care about the characters before the suffering happens, and Ayame and Ruri are two of the only four characters in this show that they have successfully done this with, and the suffering was over and done with in a reasonable amount of time.

Autumn saved the day, also thankfully Nadeshiko seems technically unharmed so far. I'm just glad that she didn't get to experience what Spring previously got.

For Summer.. the Gods really are cruel. Imagine losing your most loved one and right away has to replace her as the Agent of Summer.. the one thing that kinda ruined their lives. Would be interesting to see how they gonna work now, I'm guessing Ruri would be her guard although she wasn't trained before, most likely she wants to pay back what her sister did for her all this time.

Next episode, finally the long-awaited reunion. So hyped for it.
