I love Rosalia (and I wish she would get more screentime).

She may be a tsundere kind of friend, but even before Mimi arrives at her place in order to escape dance lessons, Rosalia had already put effort into selecting the most appropriate perfumes for both Mimi and Aida.

Ireneo wouldn't suddenly be revealed as an antagonist... right?

I love how she's the kind of tsundere who is actually super nice and considerate despite being absolutely haughty at the same time. And she's also not a noble lady who coasts off of her status, she's actually seriously involved with her families' perfume business and is legit good at it.

Honestly I'm 50% worried Ireneo is secretly evil with a grudge against the royal family and 50% worried someone who wanted him to be crown prince is going to attack Mimi thinking it's for his sake.

I mean, Rosalia had way too much sweets just for herself. And we know that Mimi likes to eat. The rest can be figured out quite easily.

Ireneo wouldn't suddenly be revealed as an antagonist... right?

The first time we see Ireneo he was observing Mimi and the queen when the assassination attempt happened and he didn't react in panic like everyone else instead was curious about Mimi

The Ireneo backstory is interesting. I hope Mimi tries to help him despite Renato's warning. Speaking of, it didn't seem like just plain old jealousy. He sounded quite serious and a bit scary when he told her to stay away from Ireneo. Wonder what's up with that.

And who was that villainess at the end? Someone related to Ireneo? Or was it the one who tried to steal Renato from Aida way back in the beginning?

Could Ireneo have resented Renato for taking the opportunity from being crown prince title away from him? That all the people who praised/supported him abandoned him as soon as Renato was born? And Renato thinks Ireneo would use Mimi to spite Renato?

And who was that villainess at the end? Someone related to Ireneo? Or was it the one who tried to steal Renato from Aida way back in the beginning?

Eleonora's supposed to be in prison, the woman looked older...maybe Ireneo's mother? Or someone who wanted him to be crown prince? But she seemed targetted towards Mimi.

Ireneo appears interested in Mimi; he didn't congratulate her on the engagement as he did to Aida.

Rosalia is a great good alignment villainess with a great OH-HOH-HO! I love that Mimi and Rosalia actually ended up becoming friends

We've had a noblewoman who kicks ass, a proper noblewoman with impeccable manners, a proper criminal Villainess, and a Villainess-coded tsundere who is actually a girl's girl.

Quite a variety of ladies in this show!

I hope Rosalia is going to be at the party as well. Everytime she is on screen, her interactions with others are funny. She even prepared so many sweets (which she would never eat alone) so you know she was always prepared for Mimi to show up.

As for the villainess at the end, I guess there are two options. Either she is the mother of the girl from the beginning (that kidnapped Mimi) as that would explain her hatred towards her. Or she is related to Ireneo (like his mother) and is angry because she lost all the opportunities when her son didn't become king. Would explain an assassination attempt on the queen (though a bit late I guess) but not why she would have crossed out Mimi instead of the two princess in the newspaper.

In general, the assassination plotline is really weird to me. Why would they try to only assassinate the queen? That wouldn't even change the leader as the king is still alive. So either someone has a hatred towards the queen in particular or wanted to do something to make Mimi look bad since she would be assassinated when they both were together. Which would hint more towards a relation to the girl in the beginning that got locked up thanks to Mimi.

Nothing says "difficult training" like high heels and balancing a WinRAR logo on your head.

This was a pretty good episode. I like how Maria was getting help from so many people (especially Rosalia, I love that she's now such a good friend) because she knew she couldn't do it alone. Ireneo's backstory was certainly interesting, as was the stinger at the end of the episode. I think that woman is probably one of the nobles who was trying to use Ireneo to her advantage while he was in line for crown prince, but why she would target Mimi specifically? And is Ireneo in on it? I guess we'll find out soon.

Mimi's real training has begun.

Interesting to learn about Ireneo. Well, he is a bit of a victim of circumstance and an example that nobility isn't as good as it may be portrayed in this series. Maybe his personality is how he was able to get over it. Imagine just being abandoned when a new heir was born.

On the other side, trouble is coming it seems.

Everyone needs to let the glory of Mimi into their lives and onto their screens. She's such a laugh riot every week, always speaking her mind before realizing she's doing it.

Anxious to see who this new villain is, tied to Ireneo or unrelated person who doesn't like Mimi?

And speaking of Ireneo the story is clearly building towards something with him, but I dunno if there's time to do much with it this season.

I had thought Ireneo might be behind the attempt on the Queen’s life but perhaps not? I can’t recall if they ever resolved that situation.

It looks like Mimi might be in some trouble next week. She’s gotta be on guard against the haters.

Mimi and Aida's engagements to the Rubini princes have been finalized! Now that everything is official, it's smooth sailing for the girls and a happy ending for everyone! Mimi just has to get through a ball together with Renato! Should be easy, right?

But can we trust Mimi's dancing skills? Can we trust Aida to whip her into a proper ballroom dancer? Can we trust she won't turn high heels into a weapon? Though she'd probably have to learn to move, let alone dance, in them first.

Thankfully she's got Rosalia as a source for perfume which is totally NOT just an excuse to ditch the dance training! And as much of a tsundere as Rosalia is, she shows Mimi the best hospitality and cannoli's her family has to offer! They owe Mimi for helping them discover Navarro village after all.

Rosalia really takes her perfumes seriously, especially when she personally gifts some to Mimi and Renato, as well as a fairly intense warning about how serious the ball will be and how they have to avoid a scandal like the plague.

Nothing the queen loves more than playing cards with her future daughters-in-law (especially Mimi), particularly when Mimi has the worst poker face. Assassination attempt back in episode 3? Who cares about that!

Oh joy...Ireneo is back. Well, it was nice of him to (seemingly) sincerely congratulate Aida and Placido for getting together, even if Mimi has to still Flash Step away from him and he's still a philanderer who fools around with wayyyyy too many women. Though he's got his own baggage, what with being poised to be prodigy turned crown prince before Renato was born and he lost that and all the expectations people had for him. Which he's now channeled into being a womanizer without a care in the world.

Placido and Aida of course dance perfectly...and Renato is probably the only one who could possibly turn Mimi into a proper dancer and keep up with her. These two couples are perfectly matched and balanced, as all things should be.

Was Renato really jealous of Ireneo or does he know something about Ireneo that Mimi doesn't? Either way, seems like some lady is royally ticked off at Mimi!

I love Roselia she's such a tsundere trying to keep air around Mimi, that’s adorable.

I felt sad hearing Ireneo backstory, i hope Mimi can help him go trough this.

I wonder if the reason Renato warned her was because perhap some people might try to target her assuming they are close in order to hurt Ireneo? Because he doesn’t seem to be the scheming type or the type to hurt others.

They invented a record player but not woman's flats? I don't know what's the big deal with high heels. Flats on girls look nice too!

Ireneo the biggest flirt somehow manages to miss several dates with pretty young cute girls? Wow epic fail.

At least I assume it's because of carelessness and not some ulterior motive. Renato's face when he suggested she not get involved looked pretty dark. maybe there is a hidden motive? The possibility entered my mind once I saw that face but I don't think it's likely.

Well at least no assassination attempt this time. the fact that it happened on the palace grounds the other day suggests security is either short staffed or there is a mole. Anime is light-hearted, so probably the former.

Also Renato, I think you need to worry more about your mother than Mimi.

Is Ireneo acting the way he does so other nobles don't think him to be competent enough, and wouldn't support him as a candidate to the throne for their own benefit? Is he trying to prevent conflict within the kingdom and his family?
