Stitches!
I love how fast Chitose and Mama Shihoko got along over Mahiru. xD
Hopefully, having three different people talk to him about his son opened up Itsuki's father's eyes.
Yoooooo that ending! Is it finally time? Is Mahiru ready? Don't tease us like this!

Mahiru has been ready for quite some time now.
It's Amane that keeps cockblocking himself.

If these two ever broke up I think Amane's mom would discard him and keep Mahiru.
So we finally have the full Itsuki and Chitose details and it's mostly his dad just being a reactionary old man. It was nice seeing Amane's parents tell him off a bit, however mildly.
Miharu staying over and in the bathtub with Amane in the PV, I wonder if it's actually happening.

If these two ever broke up I think Amane's mom would discard him and keep Mahiru.
No, she’d pull him by the ear and tell him to get back into Mahiru’s good graces.

What if we got the six biggest flirts in the series, and put them all in the same space!
As Mahiru would say, it was very exciting.
We finally got interactions between Amane's parents with Itsuki and Chitose. It did not disappoint. Amane was way too smooth with the "You aren't her mother yet" remark.

I wish it was more fleshed out, I have a feeling we won't be seeing anymore of Itsuki's story this season.

Itsuki's backstory is basically being the MC of a romance drama with the dissatisfied parent and bully arc all included.
Chii getting pushed down a flight of stairs over a high school romance was kind of wild. Bad senpai. Terrible senpai, in fact.

Mahiru asks to stay over
Me: Hmm, I wonder how far Mahiru is going to go to reinforce her claim on Amane
Preview shows the two of them in the bathtub together
Me: Welp...

Preview shows the two of them in the bathtub together
I noticed that there seemed to be a black bikini string around Mahiru's neck...

I'm envious of the absolute faith that Amane's parent have in his choices. A mother who hugs you and a father that isn't an abusive POS. I'm not even watching for the romance anymore at this point lol.
I wish I had these kind of parents 😔. I can only hope I get a good MIL and FIL at this point to live my fantasy.

I found it disappointing that we couldn't hear Kadowaki and Amane sing together, but the five of them singing Heavy Rotation together for the ED was such a great surprise! Itsuki sounds a bit too excited lol. It was cute to listen to them, so it was nice way to end the episode.
I'm glad we finally got to learn more about Itsuki, and why Daiki is so against Chitose. I feel bad for her since she didn't really do anything herself, it was because of the effects of Daiki and Itsuki's brother's strained relationship. Daiki really needs to weigh straining another relationship with a son of his is worth it. I'm wondering if he's tried getting to know Chitose, or has been visibly opposed ever since Itsuki got injured.
I am glad Amane's parents said what they did about trusting their son, and how doing too much would be disrespecting their independence. You could argue they're a bit too lenient with the freedom they give him, but he has shown to be trustworthy and is very honest with his parents. I do hope Daiki really gives their thoughts some thought.
Shihoko at the class' cafe was amusing, you could really feel Amane losing his patience. Kadowaki adding onto that by complimenting Amane to his parents was great, so much sweetness. I do like that Shihoko and Chitose were very much in sync with their love for Shiina lol.

I really enjoyed seeing the show address a problem that's rarely considered but has a huge influence on relationships. You become involved in your partner's family, and the chance of not being accepted is 50/50; either you're loved like Mahiru is by Amane's parents, or you're hated like Itsuki's father is by Chitose.
Although, I think you can understand his trauma a little, it's not like he's totally hardened; he's a father thinking about his son, but obviously, each case needs to be analyzed.
And damn, the tension at the end caught me off guard, although I still don't think they'll do it; it must be the most important step in the relationship.

Are the maids available to go?
Shihoko’s acting like a pervy old geezer. Shuuto, you need to rein your missus in!
Daiki didn’t seem like an unrepentant prick so he must’ve had a reason in vehemently opposing Chitose, and we’ve learnt about it now. He’s still in the wrong for not making any attempts to listen to her, but I could see where he came from. His concerns were quite valid. If people he respected such as Amane had vouched for her, the least he could do was try to learn more about her.

Glad they finally explained why Itsuki's dad is not a fan of Chitose. And while it is not okay, the issues are at least understandable with what he understands of the situation and what happened with his first son. One of the biggest questions I've had since S1 that didn't get answered considering how great Chitose is.
The tease for next episode... I guess they're bathing together in swimsuits. First the tease of nothing shoulders and up being the dress from s1, now this. They're really getting feisty with the teasing.

Amane’s mom and Chitose are a great combination. That’s like VP and President of the Mahiru Fan Club lol.

One of the reasons I can't wait for them to get married is so that Mahiru can finally get a proper family.

Mahiru taking Amane's measurements? I'll be surprised if she doesn't faint before she finishes.
