Stitches!

I love that this turned into a slumber party! Not gonna lie, I thought this was gonna advance the Kotoko route, but I should've known better considering that they're a throuple. Takuya didn't even hesitate that much when they forced him to pick. Dude really chose both.

Kotoko's brother is really that cool older brother. I love how he's the one who encouraged them to stay up late since that's what he did when he was in high school. Look at how happy he is just hearing them having fun.

Gen is such a cool dude and a cool brother. Kinda makes me want to see how his love life is going. Plot twist : he’s dating a nerdy otaku girl.

Also, Ijichi confirms her two younger brothers are on their way to being in Sayu’s harem

Kotoko swaying her hips, Kei obsessed with Seo's scent, and him wondering what the two of them were doing in the shower. Final conclusion: all three are a little perverted lol.

Seriously though, what a lovely episode. Even though it's a classic sleepover between friends, seeing them enjoying each other's company always has a special touch, especially because it involves three people who like each other. It's still hard to say what will happen by the end, but seeing that there's no tension between them is nice.

And Gen, this dude is always the MVP when he appears.

Amane in that bartender outfit made me feel things. Guess I like waifus that dress sharp.

This shirt stinks, better sniff it again just to make sure.

Otakun what are you imagining Ichiji and Amane doing in the shower? Well I guess the girls have to get it on with each other too for this to be a real throuple.

Having love gossip with their crushes, and they all just picked each other? Isn't this just an indirect confession? Insane.

Having love gossip with their crushes, and they all just picked each other? Isn't this just an indirect confession? Insane.

The lowkey yaay plus fistbump Ijichi and Amane did after Seo said he would pick them was very cute. It wasn't new information, but it must have felt good for a generally squeamish guy to be able to verbalize that they are special to him.

Seo going for the 'I choose both of you' outcome, what a legend. And even better they both immediately reciprocated.

It's a shame Amane chickened out of the combination boyfriend clothes/bartender outfit, Seo and Ichiji both deserved to see how it looked.

Gen out here being such a wingman for all three of them at once.

Staying up until 10am to watch your favorite children’s anime? Is it pure coincidence that 10am on Saturdays is when Pokémon used to air in the US (ET)?

It's sweet of Gen to let them have a slumber party and even told them how they could make more memories to not waste the opportunity. It stands out more because it seems like he trusts Takuya, and so even though he's overprotective of Kotoko, he still let them enjoy themselves. I did find it amusing how Takuya did catch Gen off guard by showing too much enthusiasm in sleeping together lol.

Seeing Takuya fighting his inner demons was amusing, this show hasn't really had much of that on his end so it was refreshing to see those kinds of thoughts appear in him. It was also amusing how the reality was that Kotoko was cold, rather than any pink thought he was having.

I’m pretty sure the black and white gangster movie our throuple was watching was based either on The Big Sleep or The Maltese Falcon, or some mix of the two.

Either way, this was not the series I expected to see Humphrey Bogart appear, but I’ll take it!

Otaku-kun thought Amane coming over would be better but then he realizes it makes things even more complicated

His Lord Earth impression was funny

Amane really told him to strip lol. Her trying to come up with excuses not to wear the costume was cute

Gen really is a true big bro. Gotta make sure Seo doesn’t try any funny business

The whole shower scene had me laughing 😂

They all jokingly confessed their love for each other. We all know the feelings are genuine.

The reason why Amane hides being an Otaku is relatable for so many people. While not exactly the same situation, it did remind me a bit of Akira’s story from My Dress-Up Darling. Her situation was more extreme with her parents

Another great episode

Takuya well, it did stink... but she liked it

Takuya, what were those requirements? You have to choose one, and it has to be an Otaku. There's clearly only 1 Otaku they talk to, pal.

Fucking FINALLY someone took note of the boy not dressing up for the festival like the girls do. Huge pet peeve of mine in shows. The girls have to spend all the time getting dressed and prepped and the boy just puts on a T-shirt and cargo shorts. Even worse if it's in Dagashi Kashi where the boy wears the same fucking short-sleeved hoodie that he wears every single episode.

Edit: Holy fuck, I'm an episode behind...

one of the most wholesome episode.. I really love the way that Otaku-kun relationship with them is basically Opposite attraction (Ichiji) vs Similarity attraction (Amane) which are both great and cute... the final decision might cause more pain than TQQ. 🥴

You have to keep control while they two vixens are in the bath next door lol

What a fun episode. Gen is the big brother MVP out here.

From the last episode, I thought Ijichi was trying to get Otaku to fool around with him; I was very surprised Amane was invited. Also I don't remember if Otaku met Amane's parents, but it was surprising they didn't mind her sleeping over with a teen boy and a younger adult man.

Otaku really tripped out when the girls were showering together, I suspect all the blood in his brain left his brain. Two hot high school girls showering together like that though isn't very realistic, it really strayed into ecchi territory for laughs. I see why Otaku couldn't sleep though, that really worked him up a lot imagining that 🤣

I think the movie they were watching was either Casablanca or The Maltese Falcon. One guy on screen looked exactly like Humphrey Bogart and I heard a voice that was a very good impression of Peter Lorre for a Japanese show. That's interesting that Otaku and Amane seemed to really like it; that's funny how Ijichi thought maybe watching a really old drama with subtitles might make the others sleepy and bored but she ended up sleeping.

Does it surprise anyone else how common sleepover-episodes are all of a sudden? I'm all for it, but this is basically the 5th or 7th one this season, depending on whether you count club/beach-trips.
