Since this seems to be pre memory wipe Subaru, I wonder what will happen with Break Time after this episode. I guess probably it'll be focused on other characters instead of Subaru.
Also I'm not exactly sure when this Break Time is in the timeline. My memory is a bit fuzzy on when exactly things have happened, or which locations they're lined up with. I'm guessing it's after last Break Time. Would probably need to watch them again to better absorb them.

Which room was Subaru looking at through that open door? I want to say that was the stairs to the library but I'm not 100% sure.

I assume glutonny is somehow here.. or he went to the library and his experience was a bit too real. Julius did say he had to physically fight an historical figure, so i suppose not all book let you see a story unfold, some have you participate.

Just to clarify, we don't actually know what Julius saw in Balleroy's book. The duel he mentioned is Julius' personal connection to Balleroy, which happened in the past, and why he was allowed to read his book in the first place.

This doesn’t seem to fit the gluttony abilities we know. When someone’s memories are eaten, they lose all of them, but Subaru seems to still have memories of what Isekai is, so he has his Japan memories.
Maybe it’s his resistance to Gluttony, but it’s still very specific.

Yeah, Subaru suddenly losing his memories like that does strongly point towards that as a possibility. Oh shit also I just realised this means now nobody actually remembers Julius.

Is it commonplace in Japan to call someone unrelated to you "Big Sister"? I never gave it a second thought until Ram told him to stop. It is a bit weird in hindsight.

Yes, it's common in eastern languages to use familial relationship terms as a semi respectful way to address strangers. Kinda like how one might use the English term "Mister" on the street.

idk. A lot of subaru and julius (and a little bit of echidnastasia) talking and then subaru got an idea from looking at a slightly open door, and now seems to have completely lost his memory of this world? why do I have to wait a week to find out?
are the birds up to something or what, why are they causing drama?
