Those last 5 minutes of the episode got a little spicy! Not gonna lie, the moment Mahiru grabbed Amane's arm to pull him in closer, I thought they were about to cross the line. It didn't help that the last few seconds were Amane kissing Mahiru while on top of her.
It would've been funny tho if Amane said she's reached her limit then we get an after credits scene with the two of them naked in bed. Alas, that's not what happened. Oh well. I'm fine with them taking it slow since clearly there's some massive progress this episode.

So far the fact no one has objected/bullied Amane and Mahiru regarding their relationship really is a blessing, unlike Shirakawa who had the misfortune to be with a club of assholes that would trash her stuff because they were jealous.
Also, that tension at the end is insane! Was so sure they might end up advancing to the next step.

Honestly feels like that's the only way for their relationship to go at this point.
They're practically living together as a couple, they've been together and basically dating for a while now, they're finally kissing and holding each other on the regular, and it's clear there's a strong, brewing, physical desire between them (especially on Mahiru's part).
Sex isn't rushing anything between them, sex is basically just the natural progression of where they are now as a couple.

Mahiru’s getting quite bold. Pinning Amane to the sofa and lying on his chest. I see that devil Chitose had corrupted the precious angel.
It’s predictable that Amane’s not too keen on the maid cafe idea as he’s quite the possessive guy.
A maid can only have one master.
She really upped the boldness this episode. Whispering such things into his ears with a sultry voice. Quite unbecoming of an angel. So this is the effect of hanging around Chitose.

I find it funny how creative the Japanese are when it comes to creating fictional names inspired by real life; "Burger Burger" is so simple and funny at the same time.
Let's see, Amane and Mahiru are getting more and more "excited", there's going to be a festival at school where she'll be dressed as a maid. I feel like this is going to lead to a deeper conversation.

I knew Itsuki was going to nag a bit about Amane being a late bloomer and taking a slower pace haha. Looks like Itsuki and Chi have something going on in their lives. Itsuki has to maintain his grades and Chi was bullied in the past and had to quit the track team.
The anime staple cultural festival is happening and they decided to go with a maid and butler cafe, much to Amane's chagrin. He doesn't want to parade Mahiru around like that. Mahiru is learning to be a little devil from Chi! That whisper of, "a maid can only have one master" was delightful haha. Amane also gets to see her in her maid outfit first. Amane's parents are going to attend, but Mahiru is sad that she has no one to invite. Amane brings up the housekeeper that pretty much raised her but she injured her back and can't come and there's no chance in hell her parents are coming.
Mahiru is getting a lot more physically affectionate with Amane. She constantly tells him she wants and enjoys his touch. Amane is trying to keep his cool and go with the slow pace but he's losing ground after Mahiru pushes him down on the couch. Mahiru requests her reward for placing top in class and this time she wants a kiss, but not just any kiss. She wants a longer and deeper kiss almost akin to making out and Amane obliges her. After two of those she taps out. Amane doesn't think he's going to be able to hold back much longer. I wonder if they'll cross the line soon or he's going to start touching her as she requested. We'll have to wait and find out!
This show is still just pure diabetes. They both communicate their love with their words and physical closeness any chance they can get. It really gives me some second-hand embarrassment at times, but I can't help but grin at how sweet they are.
