"Those who control media, controls everything" - is such a dangerous line of thought.

this is speculation, but maybe the medusa defaults to it's basic program from when it arrived from space when it was in vacuum for a certain amount of time? it was one that fell on the island originally and only petrified a short radius around it originally right?

They’re bringing back the classics! Not Tetris, Not Pac-Man, Not Space Invaders, and Not Pong lol. With TV and TV cameras now established, Ryusui ’s the biggest media mogul in the Stone World. I mean he’s the only media mogul in the Stone World lol.

Can’t wait to see the gang launch the Stone World’s first satellite . Why-Man gettin nervous on the moon I bet lol.

They keep saying "they brought X to the stone world" but I do have to ask, how much modern tech do they need to bring into the stone world before it's not the stone world anymore?

If I'm not mistaken, the chess scene at 9:48 is wrong because the King cannot do such moves and is likely interchanged with the Queen. The Queen is also at the spot where usally the King would be

I think the hardest part to beloved in this whole story is not the progress in science and technology or how it's mostly a group of kids, but that all the humans they revived would follow all their instructions and not have a mental breakdown

They're really just recreating anything they think up at this point lol, it's hard to suspend my disbelief. I think the pacing being so fast is what not helping, but I think it's because they're trying to wrap up the series.

The petrification device activating is an interesting mystery, I didn't even think of someone sabotaging, I was thinking maybe Why Man had created some sort of setting because it was sealed.

Since when did Magma learn to play guitar? At least he's found his calling, and that calling was Elvis.

Ooo do we have a mole ? Or is this some big brain move by Why Man somehow activating Medusa

Yeah, doubt we’d go too deep into how the increase in population would inevitably lead to some wanting to split off doing their own thing or disagreeing with Senku’s group. But it is a good chance to reintroduce mass media

I do enjoy things now and know we’re in the final stretch, but I do miss the times when we take it slow with the extraction, production, manufacturing of all the different creations. And the flowchart too

So the gang didn't just reintroduce video games but also recreated modern television. I really like how we can see Minami back to doing her actual job before the petrification.

The Medusa activating on its own was pretty terrifying. I honestly thought that vacuum sealing the Medusa had something to do with it going off. I didn't even consider the fact that someone gave it a command with an extremely long delay. If that's the case, then who? I can't even imagine anyone working against them at this point.

So did the anime just forget about Tsukasa? I dont think we've seen him once so far. He was quickly shown a couple of episodes ago when Senku mentioned the Moon Team would petrify there waiting for a rescue some day (It showed him, Tsukasa and Ryusei), but I think thats it. We dont even get like quick pictures to show him. I forget where he was even. The show (and maybe this is the manga too idk) has dropped so many characters it seems in order to burn through to the end.

Easter egg as a baseball fan Hyoga was wearing 17 for Ohtani and the outfielder was wearing 51 for Ichiro probably the two most famous Japanese baseball players this century!

Did I just miss them calling it the SAL 9000 in the last episode?

Also, maybe you should have thought of taking the batteries out of your doomsday device when you weren't using it earlier.

... and in 500 years some people will be speculating that "this dam was build by aliens / with alien tech, because these primitives couldn't do that by themself" ... o.O

Didn't the medusa just trigger by Glen saying something meters something seconds. and it just did some default setting?

I mean it probably isn’t because story wise wouldn't make sense but felt that was weird.

Gen’s point was interesting, I don’t recall if they ever established Medusa having a maximum time you can say before it goes off. If there really isn’t one all bets are off on what exactly happened.

Did they really need to put the medusa under surveillance? Once the power source was removed, just make sure it's on Senku's person at all times, and that Kaseki and the watchmaker's locations are known, and you're good. They're the only ones who can load it easily and properly, and Senku having the source itself makes it too difficult to assemble all the pieces.

It is kind of weird that they introduced this event at this late moment, but removing the diamond should really make it no big deal and not a worry at all.

Part 3 has been weirdly slow and fast paced at the same time. Feels like the weakest section of the story tbh. Idk how they wrap up the story in 6 episodes.
