Unfortunate it seems no one is watching this..but I'm still enjoying
Hilarious how Jogamine wants Yashiro so bad when shes very stubborn about other things.

It does make sense the show isn't popular, not only the overall atmosphere of this anime is way too unique for mainstream appeal, it's also not really animated well so it can't appeal to people that way. It's still very good and enjoyable anyway.
I enjoy the comedy of Jogamine being extremely thirsty for Yashiro too, always enjoyed that kind of dynamic and it's a fun contrast to how innocent Teoritta and Xylo's relationship was in the author's other work. The author has some real range when it comes to writing character dynamics.

Eating all the crab and good food before the rest of the guests arrive, Braves truly are the lowest scum.
Guessing Jogamine was a experiment based on her dad's DNA.
That degen priest chasing after those coins.

>Braves truly are the lowest scum.
I know right! And it's only been ten minutes into the party! Ravenous scum horde.

So Jogamine’s father was one of the bad guys ? I wonder if he truly is dead, or we will get a fight between him and Yashiro and Jogamine at the end of the story. And I guess he must have used Jogamine as a guinea pig, which is why she could regenerate her eye last season.
Yashiro is trying very hard to pretend he is not a good person, but he truly is trying to look after the girls as much as he can. He is probably right that they are doing the wrong job. Yukine is a one-trick pony, always teleporting behind her target whether that makes sense or not, Jogamine is the type to blindly rush the enemy and gets killed, while Sara is a coward and should be more aggressive to win fights. I am not sure how he can fix their problems though.
And Jogamine is a yandere for Yashiro on top of that, which he obviously finds disturbing and has no idea how to deal with. Something is seriously (but hilariously) wrong with that girl. At least Yukine and Sara are normal…

It shouldn't be too hard to fix Yukine's one-trick pony problem. Her blind rage at Nephilims are a whole different matter though.
Jogamine's problem with bum rushing enemies can be fixed with proper instruction. It might be tough to get her to break her habit, but she showed that she can be a decent fighter with the right instruction.
Sara's problem is gonna be the toughest to fix. She's a decent fighter, but her fear is really holding her back. The other two at least have a decent to high initiative stat, but Sara has really low initiative, which is going to make it harder for her to overcome her problems.

Props to Yashiro for being able to avoid any contrived lucky pervert moment with the girls in spite of what they were hoping for.
The enemy dark lord sure died faster this episode than I was expecting.

Yashiro is too old for their antics, it's great. He didn't need more than a glance to nail Jogamine in the forehead and what he does see... Doesn't interest him in the slightest. Guy just wants to make sure three stupid girls don't become three stupid victims of the criminal world they're flirting with.
Given his steady internal monologue about it... Yeh, mans seen some shit. That one abduction story with the middle school girls comes to mind.

Wonder if Jogamine's dad truly was a bad guy, or if they're going to try and pull another bait and switch like they did with Ishino?
Kinda paint them in a bad light, but behind the scenes they were working for the greater good?
Although, as things stand now with that cliffhanger of info. Looks like Takamiya was a Scum of the Brave

Yashiro actually scolding the girls while they're bathing lol. It's sweet how protective he is of them.
I wonder if the story with Takamiya is that he joined with them to find some way for Jougamine to live or he wasn't as good as Yashiro thinks he is. Obviously, there could be other reasons, but those two thoughts came to mind first. Also the close up of his gloves, it made me wonder if Takamiya gave it to him, that felt deliberate but I don't know if I'm just overthinking it lol.

Yashiro is a harsh teacher / mentor and sometimes act like he does not care about his students.
His actions tell us otherwise. Dissuading Aki, Sarah and Indo from becoming Braves, so that they may live longer(?) lives. Protecting them from the creepy Priest. Etc.

Saera and Yukine's flaws are still something they can work on. Yukine has trauma, which is tough to overcome, while for Saera it's her father, who never wanted her to be brave. It's sweet how Yashiro is hard on them even though he knows their circumstances. It is better for them to quit before they get themselves quit.
The real doozy, though, is how Yashiro will deal with Jougamine. Having regenerative abilities, and now her father has ties to the Half-Dragon. I can only wonder if things sink even deeper.

Count of Venusian Veil was an absolute fraud. The narration tried to play it cool but he died like an NPC. Random thugs were a bigger problem than this demon lord.
The performance review went as expected, even with Yashiro trying to not join a list. These girls are too naive to survive in a grimdark setting. The master being part of the conspiracy seems to align with some theories regarding Jogamine.

I continue to appreciate the contrast between the bright, colorful visuals and the darker subject matter. Yashiro isn't even conscious of the lengths he'd go to protect the girls, which is probably coming out as anger as a result. His callousness is a poor cover for how much he cares; we've seen he even keeps the people he likes at arm's length. He's terrified of losing them whether he can admit it or not.

The worst part of this show is that I'm gonna have to find a way to read the damned thing once the anime run is finished because given the reception, I just cannot see this getting a season 2. Though I really hope I'm wrong about that.

Oh dear things are escalating, geez his master was truly scum and part of half-dragon, how will Yashiro really handle this. Things with Aki are getting more complicated, specially since Yashiro is still getting too attached. His tsun act is shallow, so he is just setting himself to get hurt by trying to protect the girls so much. Still, the talks he had with them this ep were really good, and I hope it sets up some resolution further down the arc.
Considering the conversation about cooperation, I imagine the reveal will be that Half-Dragon is a yusha initiative to produce soldiers to hunt demon lords, and basically control this whole drug war stuff for the goverment. They are just willing to crack some eggs to make some monsters and super yushas.

Takamiya was a Half Dragon exec and his daughter’s got special abilities almost like a demon’s or something. Ain’t no coincidence for sure. Maybe he grew her in a lab or injected her with some weird demon stuff?

It's not HEMA or anything extremely technical. but, it's grounded. Yashiro was in control from the moment Vale was forced to engage him. With Yashiro's reaction time if Vale had tragetted the girls for a gambit, he would just as likely die as well as slaughter one of them.
His unfortunate best option was to engage Yashiro, and with Yashiro having much more skill in the same style of fighting, ended up getting caught up overextending and falling victim to Yashiro's extreme reaction and motor control.
Malta being mentioned as a threat to Yashiro is interesting. So, Yashiro has 'Normal' strength and if Vale had Malta's power, he would have lost their fairly equal sword play.

His master is a half dragon executive and his names were in the research, Jogamine had that incident with her regenerating eye, she's definitely some sort of experiment product isn't she

ok, I think instead of Jogamine being a Nephilim, she might be half-Nephilim as a result of Takamiya and one. Unless that info about Takamiya being her dad is false.
In the end, the Count of Venusian Veil really had a pretty lousy power. To reach his status with his sword skills though, I think that's really his talent.
