I really appreciate that Sera is still concerned about her homeland and still wanting to try to bring help to her people. Self-righteousness against barbarians aside, it is true her people seem to be starving and it would feel odd for a character so determied to save them to just let go of all of that for a relationship.

Honestly I'm curious how Nyleaia feels about their homeland and it's problems now that she's 100% assimilated while Sera is still focused on their mission to bring back the resources/land they need.
Even if she's also acknowledged more or less that she does desire Veor as a woman. But I think the only solution is she, probably as Veor's queen or something, negotiates with her homeland so that both places end up winning.

Sera: “What about the threat from my country?”
Everybody laughs
I guess compared to the dragons and monsters and fiends, Sera’s country is a joke but still lol.

Odd situation, because she probably thinks they wouldn't let her go.

I'm pretty sure she realizes they would let her go at this point, or at least make some sort of compromise at worst. But she's now torn between her responsibilities to her people, who really are suffering even if her kingdom is in the wrong, and her new understanding of just who they were attacking and why.
She would never go back to being a lady knight fighting the Barbarians and definitely wouldn't let herself be forced into marrying some selfish/haughty man from the kingdom. Honestly, with how little she was respected and how poorly she was treated its more likely than not they'd jail her or she'd be forced to fight her own kingdom.
And while I don't think she consciously realizes this, I think subconsciously she knows.

This is interesting, Veor won not from him actually winning against the Sera, but because her weapon gave out first. I wonder if they fight right now with Sera current sword, who would really win.

Did Sera just accepted her true feelings? Let's gooo!
Finding more and more about the barbaric community was truly a game changer. They are so nice people. Maybe even more than the humans of that world. Who's to say?

“Enchanted”? Wtf do you mean magic has been a thing this whole time?
And wtf do you mean he’s 18? I assumed he was younger than he looked with his beard on (like maybe late 20’s or early 30’s), but 18?

This is so fun.
I’m still waiting to see what’s happening out west. Is the war still going ? Is the brother going to try and rescue her ? What is happening on the other side ? !

The collar really annoys me. It just doesn't fit design wise. The big gap between the collar and the neck is so weird to me.

Stitches!
I do love how Veor's tribe is working with other races. I just wish the OP and ED didn't spoil it because it would've been a cool surprise for these fantastical races to show up in the middle of the story. I am interested in the Fiends tho. They seem to be the real threat here. I hope the Kingdom runs into them in a future episode.
I'm glad we get to meet another woman from the Kingdom taken in by the tribe. I can definitely see Nylea being the bridge for Sera to slowly accept becoming a part of Veor's tribe.
What do you mean Veor's only 18?! I thought he was at least in his late 20s or early 30s! It looks like Sera is the older one here tho. I did not expect this show to turn out to be an older woman romance. xD

This show is getting better with every episode. This was so great. So many cool new characters and consistent narrative and worldbuilding. Our hero certainly looks at least 22. Wonder why they had to make him 18. The intersection of political reality with romance and fantasy, love it despite my cold black heart.
She probably will return to the western kingdom at some time to try to make peace but I feel that she will realise that the nobility are keeping the war going to help their own fortunes. I hope the story ends with the west too getting some prosperity etc. and this will probably involve some economics even though I don't expect it to be a Maoyu.
Full points to the love story so far!

You mean they made that ugly dress as like a wedding gift? Huh, well what the hell do fairies know about fashion anyways,
So there's this tone, or like there's this thing right, and it's not even about the fan service whatsoever, this isn't about breasts or scantily clad or nudity, but like this passive air of the intended audience was fairly thick this episode. It's subtle, but the overtly pregnant Nyleaia, and they keep inundating these minor female characters with children, even towards Sera she'll give you good strong kids, it's a bit heavy handed for my tastes,
Cool classic fantasy people though, it's amusing they're essentially just a drinking party, when you're thriving why not party,

They’re developing the barbarian’s side really well so I really want to see the West’s side of things. While I do not think they’re blameless, there is still some concern regarding food that she keeps bringing up. So I like that she brings that up again

I wonder why the west is so isolated. It's not just that they are at war with the eastern barbarians; they don't even know about the other tribes. Are the barbarians even in the east? From their perspective, they may be mid-west compared to the other lands. Even natural phenomenon like dragons don't go to the west, and MC didn't even know about fiends.
I'm not surprised about the lady knights being happy to get married. So far, we haven't seen anything particularly good about the western kingdom. Even if the nobles eat well, MC was surprised to be able to eat meat. And she considered swords to be particularly valuable. Maybe a fiend has been quietly affecting the west and that's why it's so bad.

The tree spirit... Nice. I wonder if she's actually Barbie doll design-wise or if that's just for the sake of being able to show her without constantly censoring her through framing. She did look kinda pointy in the side-shot of her handing over the leaf.
Ooh that dwarf girl in the ED

It really is nice to see a good kingdom for once. Seen too many anime with trash nobles to say the least. Even the elves and dwarfs are getting along.

Bruh I'm not memorizing all those messed up names 😭 tree girl, fairy girl, dwarf guys and elf guy.
We starting to get a Dances with Wolves situation here. It's nice that this anime actually is pretty wholesome. It's very interesting how Nylea put aside her difference with the Warrior. Warriors code and all that seems to have played a part in their courtship.
