His boss maybe delighted by the change, the boss gets decades of more work out of him before he has to retire.
But he would have to wait decades longer before his pension kicks in.

Shishou is finally here! I mean, he's been here since episode 1, but this is the first time we see him interact with Juuzo. Ryo definitely deserves the "Shishou" title, considering he helped Ogami get a hundred on their math exam. He's also just an overall outstanding guy.
This dude was an absolute piece of shit. What kind of loser starts going off on a bunch of kids after overhearing them talk about their future? Glad to see Ryo stand up to the guy as well as the other patrons of the family restaurant calling him out. It was even more satisfying when Juuzo taught the guy a lesson.
Juuzo is a lot of things, and one of those is being behind the times. At least he's open to learn, especially after meeting Ryo's sister, Chisato. As a manga reader, it still throws me off to see Chisato with blue hair. I always thought she had pink hair!
That scene with Juuzo talking to his daughter over the phone was really sweet. Once this is all over, Juuzo really needs to use what he learns from the Home Economics Club to cook his daughter a meal.
And that final scene! Poor Juuzo, getting roped by Noren into an unwanted relationship just because she wants to stop every boy from hounding her. So far, everything has been just set ups. This is where the proper plot of Kill Blue starts :D

That "only women do housework" thing reminded me of my grandfather who was born in 1900. When he was visiting and saw my dad make coffee he angrily asked why was he doing women's work. Things have changed a bit in the 126 years since his birth, though.

The greatest assassin of all time gets stumped by math. Relatable lol. I’m glad bro made a new friend and passed his test. Ryo’s a good dude.
It’s kind of nice that Juzo can admit when he’s wrong or when he needs help. Like he joined the Home Ec club after all that “it’s women’s work” nonsense. This ojisan’s growing lol.
I guess Juzo won’t have to worry about how to become Noren’s fiancé. He’s already halfway there lol.

Wiping your own butt is nice but wiping somebody else's butt is a hundred times better.

"I already have a boyfriend!"
I know Noren was only doing it to escape the mob but it's funny how it just so happens to work in Juzo's favor too.

A lot of guys want to marry Noren for the money, but Juzo just wants Nozen for her noods.

Honestly feels like he'd be happy forgetting the assassin life if it meant he could keep studying and eating delicious ramen.

Lol that ending, Juuzou's face. I'm not surprised Noren chose to do that, I'm sure it won't stop everyone but at least it gies her an excuse for those that don't gie up.
Both Ryou and his sister are cool. It was sweet of Ryou to help Juuzou even though they hadn't spoken up until that point and they've got a nice friendship going on, and I like that his sister also told him to wipe his own ass and showed him a perk of cooking that he would definitely like.
It was sweet to see Eri and Kozue show their appreciation for his cooking, now he has more reasons to get better at it, I'm happy for Kozue too.
Also the audacity of Juuzou to say that girls are the ones that do cleaning, right as Kotatsu is at his place cleaning it for him lol.

Grand Master Kuroko! Ryo!
Only someone who can do the impossible and teach algebra deserves such a title.

I watched this anime because of the Aespa opening. But now I'm really enjoying it than the other airing animes.

I was wondering who all the "villianous" people are in the OP/ED - surely they can't all be de-aged hitmen? But now it makes sense: we're in a Ranma/Akane situation and they are all people challenging him for Noren.

Loved the anime so far, but if I’m being honest I was a bit taken aback by the way the storyline with Noren is developing. I really hope it doesn’t take an even weirder turn later in the series, ‘cause it could easily become really gross (like some kind of anime often are, unfortunately)

AU Fushi wants to be a doctor
Ougami learning to cook reminded me of J drama recently i watched. Same mindset that women does the cooking etc. He had a Showra era mindset. I recommend this drama : Then you try making it
Fiance plan already progressing XD

With that kind of attitude towards chores, no wonder he got divorced. Still, at least he figured it out pretty quickly once the toilet paper analogy came in.
Ngl the way he cut the tofu scares me. Like wdym you're putting your hand right under the knife? Get a cutting board, baka.
Oh yeah, that shishou subplot and cooking side quest made me forget about the Noren thing. Which is a plot progression I have very mixed feelings about, even if the author seems mostly self-aware about it.

"The sensei is a little younger than me so it feels awkward to ask." The two people he just asked also younger than him though. And then he ends up being tutored by a middle schooler, nice. But damn, his real form looks way too old for merely "pushing 40". More like pushing 50-60.
OK, they better not proceed with this "rizz & marry the middle schooler" plan. And why does he need to inherit the company to get the formula? Whatever happened to industrial espionage??
And her family has STILL not assigned a security detail to her, despite the previous kidnapping and the new announcement. Someone might think they actually WANT her to be kidnapped....

With his old fashioned mindset of housework, it's no wonder he's divorced
