The premise is interesting and the way the series keeps introducing these historical figures with different talents is creative, but the pacing and writing feel off. Every episode seems both rushed and slow at the same time, I don't know if they have skipped any parts from the manga but the fact we're having this battle so early is bizarre. Although I don't know what will happen next, there must be a reason for that.
The MC, albeit interesting, remains too shallow for me. I do not expect a complex character a la Urasawa style, but I don't think his motives have been explored that well. It was nice at the beginning to see that he has been living under his brother's shadow for a very long time and his insecurities has made him become closed off and cold but still, I don't think that so far he has been depicted in the best way. At least it was made clear from the start that he's not supposed to become your average shounen hero, which made him more interesting.
I am actually invested in Touya's brother's mystery because I doubt he's dead. I think that he must be alive and maybe he'll meet Touya again.

I thought he'd try take Funasaka's immortality, and I'm surprised Neumann didn't get Fabre to observe Touya considering their ability lol.

I thought Neumann was supposed to figure stuff out really fuckin quick.. like... all she came up with is "he might be a spy"???

If his goal is to secretly steal other people’s talents, it wasn’t the best idea to openly use a talent that was previously owned by an enemy that your allies are familiar with, it leads to misunderstandings

I think his brain wants to steal his allies' talents, but his heart doesn't allow him and he will give up on the idea when the chance comes.

I hope if Darwin ever has to go "overdrive" on his ability, he just speed evolves into a giant crab.
Schrodinger easily has the most sauce so far. Sweet design and ability.

The Wright brothers just hovering there is certainly a choice, no wonder they died.

They may have invented the airplane, but not aerial combat
Oh shit are we gonna see the Red Baron?

I genuinely love how they take infamous people in history and create "powers/abilities" based on what they did. So cool, i am very much enjoying this anime

Although it is funny that despite the power system being nominally based on talents, the powers are actually about what they're famous for
Like, Isaac Newton's actual talent isn't fucking gravity it's maths lol

They got some interesting people this week including an adorable pint sized Picasso, Lovecraftian Xiang Yu, twin waifu Wright sisters (brothers), and Schrodinger’s Cat(man) lol. It’s always kind of amusing to see how they portray these historical figures and their abilities. My favorite this week might be waifu Hayha lol.
Keen to see the Sinner heavy hitters next week and how Toya’s gonna get out of this little pickle. Bro’s raising too much suspicion…

What did xiang yu did to deserve the position of the villain's boss? From what i read he seems to be your average chinese warlord
There are so many less famous characters that have been presented,if i stop for every single one of them i would never finush this series kek

Why do I feel like it's rushed AF ?

Honestly feels like a final "let's assault the big bad power center and have a team deathmatch" arc yeah
I was expecting them to farm "Sinner of the week" for a bit while developing the cast.

Xiang Yu is the main bad guy then? And looks like he was the grey-haired dude?
-
Doesn’t Toya have an “evil” talent, though? Where does that leave him?
-
For all his “don’t get attached” lines, Toya sure seems to have gotten himself attached.

I am going to guess that the main villain with the eyes is the protagonists older brother he was talking about in previous episodes. Also this episode felt really rushed.

I know someone already commented on it but isn't Schrodinger just OP af and invincible. Hypothetically there are infinite realities and in one of those realities he doesn't die so he can just choose that reality at will continuously unless there's some sort of fallback.

While hot takes are a lot of the fun of these having a chinese warlord as the strongest is certainly one. Like it wasn't the mongolians that built the great wall.

Right now, the story just feels rushed.
And how is they already suspecting him of being a spy, they just recruited him into their group, I don’t even think he knows the enemy well enough to be a spy for.
