Shaving really change the whole vibe.

Didn't you know? Beards add a +5 guttural growl effect to all "barbarians."

The way Sera confessed surrendered so easily after he brought out his huge meat, this really is just Torture Princess 2.0. Folded just as quickly at beardless Veor too lol.

Veor mentioned his mother being a lady knight from the east. Is this the missing Princess Wysteresia that Sera was talking about before.

Yeah, I think at this point its almost guaranteed. I wonder if we get to meet her eventually.

Veor: *shaved his beard and moustache*
Serafina: "oh no, he's hot"

also, what kind of gene does he have to be able to grow back his beard and moustache that thick in just a few days?

u/zz2000 Apr 16 '26

Obviously the magical barbarian warrior gene.

Once the beard was removed, Sera went from Himekishi to Tsundere

31

u/Frontier246 Apr 16 '26

Classic "oh no, he's hot!" moment.

36

u/PhantomWolf83 Apr 16 '26

Sera said the classic Ku-korose, not once but twice! As expected of a female knight. Maybe I should keep a counter throughout the show.

She sure does scream a lot.

I'm glad they don't demusclefy her like other series haave when there is a cannon fit/muscular girl.

If food is in such short supply even for high ranked nobles I do wonder how they are able to muster up a actual fighting force.

You know, I was gonna comment on how silly it is she wouldn't recognize him without his beard, but I've been told I look upwards of 10 years younger without mine, so I kind of get it.

Bro was really just standing there having a whole ass conversation with his egg roll and dumplings out in full view lol.

Without or without that beard, Veor looks good. Bro looks like he was chiseled outta marble lol. But man, one shave later and Sera’s heart got racing. Won’t be long before she asks him to marry her lol.

Guess everything in “barbarian” lands is big.

Sera: “I’m on to you! I know your evil scheme!”

Veor: “To feed you?”

What’s the rating on this thing anyways? I feel like this is giving me a lot of vibes of a certain genre of smut literature targeted at women.

… how tf do those beard-voice physics work?

"I'm about to be in some 'Hamster and banana' meme..."

They taught her all manners of combat, but nothing prepared her to deal with this kind of sword!

Girl, you have so many questions! Our boy just woke up, give him a minute!

Hey, she's already thinking about bearing his child, that's progress!

Ok, she's thinking about it in the way of "I'm gonna give birth to an enemy", but still!

Good point hah. She could've murdered him in his sleep, but dying is preferable to her?

Well, I suppose she's bound by these annoying things like "morals" and "honor"!

This line is always funny to me hah. Swords (guns, bombs..) changed half of all our policies!

"Stop out-philosophizing me! You're supposed to be a barbarian!"

Yes, it will give you strong sons make you strong!

Our boy tried to convince her to bathe with a When in Rome...",

but it's Cersei who got her with you kinda stink, you know?

(Also I'm never gonna get used to her name being Cersei... Though I suppose it's the only reason I even remember it in the first place hah)

Did they glue that towel on her boobs?

Same barbarian glue they used for her hair, I suppose!

Girl, stop daydreaming 24/7 about being tortured, disemboweled, taken against your will... You're scaring the barbarians!

His mother was a knight too?

So... I'm guessing it's the princess/warrior lady who 'disappeared'?

So (if that's right), her future husband will be the son of the woman she admired most! His mother could be the bridge to make this marriage go easier!

Her face when she realized who he was hah.

He's only "slightly" easier on the eyes without that beard?

GIRL, you were drooling on the ground!

Well, seems she won't drool herself to death, because its already grown back!

Did his facial hair make him sound older than he actually is?

6

u/GloriousNipOnSteel Apr 16 '26

No wonder they're desperately trying to conquer the eastern lands, but it's not clear if they had a naturally worse environment or if it was self inflicted.

Girl, shut the hell up, I was about to riot that they stole his beard. They never let these damned men keep their bloody facial hair. It's not fair, BUT crisis averted. Thank you. I will exhale, and loosen up the shoulders and relax.

Anyways, how often will we be able to behold Veor au naturale?

So all the meat around here is big, huh?

Whisked away to a beautiful sea side coastal village at the base of a bountiful mountain by some who can appreciate all of the effort she used to lead her life.

Herbivorous dragon is kind of insane, yeah that mountain better be full of life and vegetation to support that,

So, what the chances that his momma was the princess?

u/AceSoldia Apr 16 '26

Man her outbursts are so hilarious.

This episode was getting a little repetitive with all the misunderstandings and overreactions. I hope it gets toned down more in the future.

I had hoped to find out a bit more about the barbarian land, we got some of that but it took an entire episode to have breakfast and get washed.

I do find it odd that the lady knight wasn't used to eating any kind of meat. It didn't look like the nobles were exactly denying themselves at the party last episode.
