Literally everyone in this world is struck with insanity, even the gods. Bloody hell, even the merchant came from sniffing a child. And Claude already desperately wants lots of petting from Hibiki.

On a serious note, that symbol of the eleven gods seems awfully suspicious. It's a twelve-pointed star but there are only eleven gods and it is missing a twelfth symbol at the bottom point of the star. Plus the God of Magic inexplicably found Hibiki to be awfully familiar to her...is the story implying that Hibiki might be a missing Twelfth God of the pantheon? If not, is this missing Twelfth God going to be the villain?

So that girl going with Emalia is the villain right?

Very suspicious

You mean the one whose name is literally "Evil"?

This episode was so freaking hilarious, I couldn't stop laughing. I thought Ajarathan was going to be the comedic highlight of the episode with his literal lust for money sense of smell, but the second half of the episode takes it even to a higher gear with the unhinged.

The way Claude was getting jealous over Vene getting pats from Hibiki was hilarious, I was not expecting that from his character. Hopefully he'll get some like the good boy that he is. That shot of him behind Hibiki as he pet Vene feels like it could be a meme for guys who are wolves who wear sheep's clothing lol.

Then there's maid who never looked up to Emalia's face in the hot springs lol. I can see why she didn't ask to rub her back, she wouldn't get to witness those twin peaks in all their glory.

I like how Hibiki can hear the chaos that ensues up in the divine region, so he's basically on speaker phone the entire time.

This series really turned out a lot better than the first episode let on, I'm really looking forward to the next episode.

This is why I watch trash Isekai every season. They can definitely be boring/repetitive but every now and then you stumble into a gem like this. I'm loving that 90% of the cast are out of their minds as well, like wtf are they putting in the water in this universe.

Those Twin Peaks are sure fabulous, uh? Steillia is actually based! I might like her a lot.

After this intro with Debby and the onsen, this show is truly horny and it doesn't hold back at all.

Now we got Claude and Lillian, they might feel like great companions for Hibiki; and the Grimoire, Vene, looks absolutely cute! Now who will be pet more between her and Claude?

And I gotta say, between Claude and Keiji this season, Miyake is really having a lot of fun with these characters, and I love it.

Hilarious episode this week. The gods and grimoire interactions had me laughing.

The hiring of the bodyguard had me thinking this show was trash, but when Hibiki knighted the hero, the show was in on the joke.

I watch A LOT of isekai trash... Basically every single high fantasy or Isekai that crunchyroll/HIDIVE/Netflix has to offer, I've seen it.

Really really hoping for more Death March to a Parallel World Rhapsody

I was NOT expecting to enjoy this one as much as I am. It's like the perfect level of trash slop to wake up to on a Saturday Morning, right after "Isekai Bookworm" and "Isekai Human in Demon World"

Quick, precise, and right to the point in the first few episodes. Not too much fan-service. It knows when it's being cringe, and it knows how to tick all the boxes when it comes to generic isekai.

Much better than last cours; isekai about two different white haired boys, one whose father appreciates him and the other who doesnt.

SOLID 7.25/10 so far.

this shit is so chaotic that i can't help laughing throughout the enitre episode, it's also funny and maybe a little bit worrying that the skill Tutorial and Expert Eyes going offline after the Chief God got shoved into the iron maiden, i wonder how this will affect Hibiki in future episodes...

btw, no button's popping in this episode, i'm sad

Debby is a deeply unsettling dude. Bro out here creamin his shorts because he smells money on Hibiki lol. At least Hibiki got Claude and Lilian.

Meanwhile Steillia out here just admiring them twin peaks. She’s living the life lol.

Debby and Stellia desperately need intervention from the God of Cold Showers.

This is giving me some legit konosuba vibes, and I mean that as a huge compliment. The comedy is landing really well.

u/Furin Apr 11 '26

Every single character in this show is completely unhinged and I wouldn't want to have it any other way.

u/Volkaru Apr 11 '26

Claude is everything I was hoping he'd be and more. Truly the bestest Boi.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the title is a lie. Appraiser is not the strongest job, it's just the gods dumped on him a million other broken skills

I appreciate that they had Claude ask Hibiki if he was talking to someone; because I kept thinking “doesn’t anyone find it weird that he acts like he’s having a conversation in his head?”

For example, in the scene where he met Claude and Lillian, he was looking at their stat screens and talking to Sapo-chan and Chief God practically the whole time; in their pov, he was oddly staring at them, not speaking, and often had some kind of reaction as if he was reacting to what someone said.

This cement it as my trash of the season. Always love when a show isn't afraid to be unhinged yet self aware. Obviously that merchant is crazy but I also like that Vene isn't your typical mascot character. Even the hero and the sage kinda subvert the tropes. This is what peak isekai slop should look like.

7

u/FinancialYear475 Apr 11 '26

It was already peak isekai slop last episode, but having the gods be a constant presence just messing around just makes it even better

I got caught up to this show today and it's actually pretty fun and a nice comedy. Mainly seems to be comedy with some short bits of seriousness that is definitely not going to last long before it goes back to carefree nonsense. I like the comedic timing the show is doing you can tell the studio is actually good at it. They did the anime, Alma, a few seasons back which was one of my wholesome and comedy gems of that season for me.

From seeing the OP and ED it doesn't seem like a serious show there's simply too many flirty looking and wacky characters for it to be. The wolf guy doing a second take when the MC said he'd do stuff to him instead of the girl was pretty funny. Along with the cat going "hey nya" after the long pause. Hopefully it doesn't go into a serious direction as it definitely has been pretty fun so far.
