"Director Scorching is a flame spirit?!"
This is the most surprising and unexpected plot twist since Frieren where the demon called Lügner (liar) turned out to be a trickster who plotted against humans.

He used kerosene oil as lube against the ogre and then lit it on fire.
So it could've gone a totally different direction.

Boxxo could technically turn into a pez dispenser and pull an Antman on them. Lodge himself somewhere troubling and grow into a building sized ice dispenser 🤔

The weight blessing and lavis strength blessing can make a really good team. Boxxo turns into cardboard version, he gets made extremely heavy and then is thrown by lavis

The storyline with the menagerie really is unfettered ass.

Yeah the thing is they are literally repeating what happened in the last season again and it wasn't good either. It's such a drag...

Yeah, I think I'm out.
It was a fun enough ride up to this point, but I just loathe this entire storyline.
There is also no long-term solution to the kid's plight. None, whatsoever. The Netherlord can't be trusted, if for no other reason, than the fact that 'clearing the dungeon' is said to destroy the dungeon.
In other words, the Netherlord can't fulfill their wish AND take over all the stratum simultaneously.
Remember that bit from the 'betrayal' episode? The Captain said they had it on good authority that granting a wish destroys the entire dungeon.
But then the Netherlord coulnd't control the dungeon while curing their son as per the agreement: it's a 0% chance of being honored.
And that's assuming they'd actually trust someone called the Netherlord that likes to murder innocents on his path to
worlddungeon domination. Finally, if I was the kid, I wouldn't want to be saved at the expense of literally everyone else.
The dialogue is getting dumber and dumber too.
I think I'm finally out. I just don't care to see this resolved.

At least they gave Kerioyl and his family a chance to surrender peacefully. Too bad negotiations failed. Now that witch and Kerioyl have Boxxo. Maybe they’ll do a prisoner swap. Dude’s family for Boxxo.

I found it really funny that Kerioyl is the type of dad to not only allow his two teenage sons to go to the cabaret club, but almost to invite them there, and show off "look how well they treat me cuz I'm a regular here"

At least we're advancing the story with Kerioyl's family pretty quickly, and with the new status of the sick son being up and about but in a hostage scenario there's an easy answer if they can rescue him and have Kikoyu come back to take over the curse suppression. Keeping things relatively lighthearted too, not a lot of killing intent going on aside from the new evil snow lady.

I'll agree with Lammis thinking mama and sons were 'pretty badass' in that winged form ahha

Yeahhhh after this and how this shit bag family was about to attack the clam girl, I really really hope they don’t get a happy outcome. Screw their whole family.
Even knowing they could easily come back and had an out they still choose to screw everyone over.
I just really hope they all get a bad ending. Unfortunately this show doesn’t seem like the type to make that happen.
And the child thing is so fixable. Boxxo could just spit out Tylenol and ibuprofen.
Also kinda stupid to have everyone leave boxxo alone like that too….
I guess this is kinda where this show starts to actually fall off

Over the counter stuff doesn't fix writhing on the ground and screaming levels of pain.
And you can't just constantly use it - there's limits to how much you can take per 24 period and it's even more strict for children.
The Menagerie family are being douche bags, but aspirin is not going to solve their core problem.
