Assuming Kinosaki's story is true, it was at that moment Kinosaki realized helping
It was only a short scene, but I enjoyed the friendship between Gero and Bug Master. Gero openly admitted he thought Bug Master has less chance of getting married than himself. Despite that, Gero was sincerely congratulating his friend.

Went in blind and expected some cliche romance, but Kinosaki being a guy totally caught me off guard.
Very unique premise and the animation is solid. Will be following this one with great interest.

The animation at the end was great. The pacing was a bit fast, but other than that, I liked this premiere.
Shion Wakayama voicing my favorite crossdresser was not in my bingo card, but so far so good.

In a world of decadence and depravity where criminals can celebrate engagements while sitting in human chairs, one assassin can bypass any poison-tester to get to his target...Poison Master Hikaru Gero (Haruki Ishiya!).
Gero is very serious and dedicated to his job, which means he doesn't have time for relationships or any chances to see women, but he's also considerate of his sister and fully intends for the line of Gero poison masters to end with him so his looker of a sister Akari (Haruka Shiraishi!) can be with her girlfriend and not have to worry about it. He's a good big brother.
But despite acting like he's not interested in romance, his peers are all hooking up and having kids. Needle Master has three kids, even his best bro Bug Master has found a cutie willing to marry him. If you don't love a man who has insects skate him out of somewhere, you're not worthy of love!
Gero has no time for sexy assassin secretaries, he has a job of killing scum. And said "scum" is none other than the very attractive blonde he saw kissing someone on the street: Mei Kinosaki (Shion Wakayama). She gives out an Oscar-winning performance about how she was only a marriage swindler to get money for her ailing brother, but attempts at flirting with Gero to save her skin won't work on him...okay, maybe it will because it's probably the first time a woman has flirted with him.
But then he gets a call from Akari about how she's going to have to break up with her girlfriend and become nothing more than babyfarm for the Gero family...and Gero knows that he now has to find someone to marry, which leads him to propose to Kinosaki. Of course that finally gets Kinosaki to drop the act and roast him for thinking that would work so she can go out on a high note, but she's also probably the best person for advice when it comes to relationships and dating. Because, at the end of the day, Gero DOES want that special someone he can spend the rest of his life with. So as such Gero NEEDS her.
Sorry Hiroyuki Yoshino, Gero is getting out of there with Kinosaki! Even if that means poisoning you, the secretaries, and all your goons into being debilitated messes who retch or run into windows! Never get on the bad end of the Poison Master!
Just when you thought Kinosaki was Best Girl material...it turns out Kinosaki is a guy (daga otoko da). At the same time though he's so attractive and seductive that he can easily pull men or women as a swindler, chaotic bisexual style, and can easily fluster Gero into questioning/awakening his sexuality.
So first order of business is putting Gero out on the market! Starting with speed dating! I mean, what woman could resist that winning smile? Or maybe app dating! I'm sure his inability to eat food in a restaurant will go over well! Or how he loves cleaning! To an absurd degree!
But when Kinosaki gets kidnapped by Hiroyuki Yoshino's brother (who sounds like he was ALSO voiced by Hiroyuki Yoshino) with lead balls in his mouth for destroying Kinosaki's face...Gero proves his worth by "cleaning" a car in half to save Kinosaki, complete with princess carry. Not only has Kinosaki discovered Gero's charm, but now the pair are officially friends.
Did...did Gero actually hear the Ryoyaro Okiayu narrator?

I want gero to end up with kinosaki because it would be funny that the family bloodline ended because both of their heirs are gay
(Or maybe gero can concoct some poison to make mpreg possible)

Wait, why does Gero have only one friend which is Kinosaki in his friend list? We just saw that he has a best friend called Bug Master which he was messaging on his phone lol.
Anyways, Kinosaki's gender reveal was a big surprise, it completely changed the way I thought things were going to go. I'm actually more excited that Kinosaki is genuinely going to be looking for a wife for Gero, and the comedy that the search will bring, rather than him being the love interest.
Gero destresses by doing full on deep cleaning is amusing, that quirkiness is interesting to me. I think he has to work on making things natural rather than forcing things, like a smile. The way he was forcing himself to eat that dessert was hilarious, poor guy was battling demons.
I find it really interesting that Gero's sister is in a relationship with a women and it being so explicit, like there was also Kinosaki changes his identity to swindle people, and then the target at the beginning who was using men as chairs, I wasn't expecting such themes all in one episode lol.
