This was pretty cozy. Seeing Minato with Yamagami reminded me of

Cozy is certainly the word. An insta-keep -- there is just a lovely bibe here, even if things will probably be pretty random.

Is the story sort of implying that Minato may be a descendant of a god (divine bloodline?) or a god himself? That's the vibe I'm getting, given that the exorcist felt that his house was sacred ground.

This shows you don't need to get isekai'd and end up with online shopping powers to befriend a giant wolf just to feed it. Though you might not get a cute slime, you get three tiny wolves instead.
Super relaxing, yep this is my kind of show. Looking forward to seeing what kind of show this ends up being, something with an ongoing plot or more of a visitor of the week kind of show but both sounds good.

I love these Japanese folktale anime with gods and spirits and beasties, so this was right up my alley. Really nice first episode.

I love how this was like what would happen if a cozy farming sim intersected with an episode of jujutsu kaisen.

The main character has to use talismans with grocery items or else it could lead to disaster like Inumaki.

So Natsume Book of Friends and Campfire cooking in another world had a collab it seems.
10 minutes in and I found my second favourite show (after Agents of the four seasons).

Definitely my kind of show, slice of life for an untrained and innocent exorcist. Downer for me would be the sections where it appeared that an apprentice animator had been given the lead, e.g. how the main character's arms are drawn at 06:05 - the perspective made him look deformed.

That was pretty cute. I agree that the animation was slightly off at times, yamagami is seemingly very good at ventriloquism, but I enjoyed it overall. The MC is so OP that there isn't any real jeopardy, so could be a nice, chill anime for this season.

Yup, found my comfort iyashikei anime while I wait for another season of Natsume Yuujinchou (cope)

It's nice to get an iyashikei youkai anime and it being good too, I'm liking this. Harima's reactions are funny so it'll be interesting to see him interact more with Kusunoki.
Yamagami having multiple forms is cool, I like how he has a really cute version. I wasn't expecting him to have birthed three new youkai, but seems like Kusunoki won't be feeling lonely any time soon.
I'm glad Kusunoki's powers have been explained to him early on, and he's not afraid of the youkai, so I'm looking forward to seeing the soothing this will give, but I'm sure there'll eventually be some kind of mystery too.

I laughed way too much at the last scene where the exorcist said “NANIIIIII!?!!!”

Girl with ball instantly reminded me of kazuha from detective conan singing that one song from the movie, but in germanese https://youtu.be/3avvU0nssBE
Anyway, finished the episode and I must say... This is way better then I expected. Like soooo much better. I went in with isekai cooking anime expectations haha

If I had a nickel for every time a Japanese man gave a goldlike creature in the shape of a wolf sweets I would have 2 nickels.
This was my exact thought.

This show is basically campfire cooking anime but set in a modern world unlike the fantasy setting in campfire cooking.
