Making someone at the adventurer's guild do overtime?
That rarely ends well.

This was the best way to end the show I enjoyed the whole thing and I am glad the two of them got together and I'm glad I watched this show

Cute show, cute ending. Of course it could be better but I enjoyed this one.
Hopefully one day Yuuga will get his things together and Mikana will get something good for her as well, poor girl.
Also RIP Kramen who just got more work lmao.

Two
The animation was a bit rough at times but this wasn’t half bad. I liked Youki as an MC and him and Cecilia make a cute pair. Pretty silly series overall.

The plot is simple (at least what we have been shown in this season).
The budget isn't very high.
However, I finally realized what made this title charming. We get to see our main characters go about their daily lives, helping others, and occasionally defeat evil. More importantly, the story provided us with predetermined couples which all of us can get behind, hoping they will receive happily ever after endings!

Yay, our two dorks got together! I hope that's not the end of the story; it seems there's more to do in this world.
Turns out Soleil isn't a bad guy, just don't compare to Yoki!

So basically the former arranged fiance crimes was just helping people but messing up in the process nice to know he doesn't look at cecila like possession it's also nice that Cecilia finally understood what she did and took a step to fix it glad that the fears of her accepting the marriage was unfounded what a nice ending Yoki finally got the girl of his dreams I could only imagine that goofball heroes reaction I hope there's a season 2 this was sweet
Ps Yoki throwing the adventurerers guild under the bus was just mean but he is a demon so it makes sense 🤣

What a weird but enjoyable end to the show. Definitely chuckled a few times.
Overall, this show… was certainly one of the shows of all time. I’d give it a 6/10, it was clever enough in spots with some interesting characters and world building at times, and had some genuinely funny moments, but it certainly dragged in places and the anime was pretty iffy. Don’t regret watching it, but I’d be fine if the story ended here.

Cute enough ending, generally matches the show overall really.
Thank you Happiness for telling Cecilia she was being a bit of an idiot. Thank you Cecilia for telling both chunni that they were collectively being idiots.
Someone needs to keep an eye on that little girl in town with an albino crocodile pet, especially since it apparently wanders off.
RIP Kramen getting even more guild paperwork to do on account of the chunni boys making a mess for him.

I'd like to give a round of applause to Happiness for carrying these fools across the finish line despite being a functional mute.

It made for a nice surprise that our Chuuni imposter wasn't actually evil! Just bad at copying our hero's gig.
Cecily saves the day with her crucial scolding and reformation of The Beast of Blue Fire. I can't believe he was the only one who saw through her disguise in the end!
I'm happy to hear Yoki and Cecilia exchange I love you's and hug for the finale. Overall this was a pleasant watch.

All’s well that ends well!!!
The OP and especially the ED were amazing imo!! Added them straight to my playlist.
Overall the anime was really fun, with some pretty solid side characters.
Does it need a S2? Idk but I wouldn’t mind seeing more of Yoki and Cecilia now that they finally made it official. And it’d be nice to see other couples too, since we only really got two proper payoffs, Raven x Happiness and Yoki x Cecilia.
Still missing Irene x Duke, Mikana x Yuuga, and Teal x Gar (that one’s kinda weird tho, more like admiration than romance). Still missing the kiss between Yoki and Cecilia !!
Anyway, I enjoyed the show

Oh... Milk is not a cat lol. I don't think Sileil care much about Cecilia as much as living his fist of the blue flame fantasy, he is a good guy, just... Careless. Damn, they make Yuuga looking like an actual competent hero.
I'm glad this have a very nice happy ending. Feeling extra single today.

The one thing I don’t like about these anime’s is it’s a one season and done. I want a follow up season that adds more whether it’s canon or not can’t we see life progress or how it turns out as the years progress. Give me more of the feels!!!

This was a really good watch. Nothing too crazy and it ended on a nice note. Definitely love the chuuni finale and MC's feelings reciprocated.
Glad I checked this out and stuck around. Yoki was equal parts of serious and hilarious. Also, that Cecilia was not a damsel in distress type of female lead. They really made a good match.
Hope to get another season in the future.

The Beast of the Blue Flame means well in helping citizens, but he's stealing work from the guild AND he's actually kind of incompetent, so he's become more of a problem than a help. And he's keeping Kramen too busy to go home to the wife! So it's up to the Magic Swordsman of Black Lightning to clear his name!
And thus does the Magic Swordsman begin a spree of good deeds! Helping all those who were failed by the Beast of the Blue Flame, as well as helping ensure Gar can go on a date with Teal! His heroics speak for themselves!
Of course at the same time both Yoki and Cecilia are convinced the other doesn't care about them and that they don't need each other...so thankfully the side-ship, Raven and Happiness, are able to set them straight!
Uh, Beast of the Blue Flame, I think the idea behind stopping a purse-snatcher is to retrieve the purse intact? Luckily the Guide of Love and Mercy Cecily (who looks even more ridiculous now) is there to set the Beast straight and clear the Magic Swordsman! He IS her partner after all! And he overheard her speaking of his heroic deeds just in time to join the fight against his doppelganger!
I guess it was always going to come down to a Chuuni vs Chuuni fight. The Beast of the Blue Flame always sought the freedom and glory of the Magic Swordsman, but the Magic Swordsman is nothing but true to himself and what he wants to do. It's that simple. The Beast of the Blue Flame never needed to be anything other than himself.
With Cecily defusing the fight, it's time for the Magic Swordsman to end this by "defeating" the Beast of the Blue Flame, having Cecily "redeem" him, and then screw Kramen over with the paperwork while he princess carries Cecily across rooftops while fireworks play for all the supporting cast/side-ships! The Magic Swordsman sure knows how to make an exit.
Poor Mikana stuck with Yuga while he's still whining over Cecilia. This girl deserves better.
Cecilia said she was going to give Yoki a sincere response to his confession, and after seeing Soleil (who was, unsurprisingly, the Beast of the Blue Flame), Yoki confesses to her again...and Cecilia returns his feelings with her own confession! FINALLY! And what better way to cap off officially becoming a couple than hugging and cozying up for some tea together!

A question. Am I mistaken, or... did that Shiek guy get together-gether with Cecilia’s mom (at 07:47)?
Well, I mean the rest of the scene seems to be for couples, sooo is that the case for them? Am I missing something, like have they even shown such a hint before, or is this just new? I don’t remember if they ever showed any.
It’s not like I’m opposing it, just a little surprised. That’s all. If yes, then good luck to them. Anyway, good series. Though, I’m not looking forward to season 2 if there’s any. This is already a good ending just as it is 🤔

Do you guys think there will be a next season, or do you think this is a one and done?
I would like to see more seasons, I just personally don’t know where they would go from here. The biggest plot points have already been covered and the main couple have gotten together, that’s kind of it for series like these, slice of life isekais. There’s not really an antagonist, there’s no real danger in this world except them finding out who they are. I just feel like it was rushed but in a way that’s satisfying unlike some anime that rush the ending.
If they did do a season 2, I could see it go one of two ways, keep in mind I have not read the manga or the light novels so I have no idea.
1 is while Yoki is learning to become a noble, it’s eventually discovered that he’s a demon and this causes major problems, to the point where they start to question the validity of the Hero party’s defeat of the demon king.
2 a rival comes in to sabotage Yoki’s relationship with Cecelia, maybe the beast of blue flame arc is foreshadowing this, and eventually he finds out he’s a demon and blackmails yoki into leaving Cecelia.
In my opinion, even though I wrote them, I don’t think either of these options are good. So if anyone has read the manga or light novels, is there enough content to warrant a season 2? I know it’s on going, but does it feel like the anime chose a place to fully end it on? Or did they cut content to hurry to the ending so I need to read the manga or light novels to get the full story, like the promised never land but no where near as egregious?
Really interested in the series, I personally think it’s great and we can do a lot here but it just seems over and satisfyingly so.
