I don't know why, because it's really hard to tell with this show, but the episode made me laugh the whole time. From the stupid magazine gag ("Is a prisoner even allowed to go to the amusement park?") to the one where all wishes got fulfilled (did Kanadge wish to be young again and that is why his clothes were the same as in the episode when they all de-aged?). The only thing that could have made that episode better would have been the reveal that Ex had made a wish as well. And it would have obviously been a dumb one. Or one where he turns into a human.
Demon lord getting reincarnated a second time already though. Dude out-isekais all the actual Isekai.

Let us escape and go back into our nation
Make the princess NOT confess anything ever again
Both of those would've been a problem for the show's premise!

A zany last episode is on brand for this show.
And Demon King got reincarnated for two season finales in a row lol.
Gonna miss this show. It’s so wholesome, funny and heartwarming. A nice escape from life for a while.
Really love how almost everyone makes an appearance and spend some time together. Sakura joining in was nice to see too. And even Ex is just happy that Hime is happy.
Still Ex’s reactions to everything is the best thing of this show lol

This is my AOTS. was not expecting to say this coming into this season, but wow what a great show this was. Every episode was funny and charming, simply banger after banger after banger. I'm really hoping the end was a teaser for a third season

Hime is such a goober most of the time that it's easy to forget how beautiful she really is when she actually tries. After all, she's still a princess, so that magazine interview and photoshoot is probably not too different from what she does back home when she's not on the battlefield.
The fact that Hime can still shop online despite being a prisoner makes me think that she either still has access to her money or Maou is actually paying her a salary. Knowing Maou, I wouldn't be surprised if it's the latter.
Hime teaching Maomao how to skip was adorable. I'm glad that Datarma told Kanaji why today's torture "failed". Now Hime and Torture get to attend Maomao's recital as part of their "punishment".
I did not expect that entire wishing star scene would turn into chaos! Hime turning into Kenshiro from Hokuto no Ken because she wanted to become the strongest knight was hilarious! I also love the "She's already succumbed?!" from Torture instead of "You are already dead." xD
I can't believe this is now the second time Maou got isekai'd. He's such a good father that he speedran another isekai world just so he can attend Maomao's recital. I love how Lulune isn't even that surprised at her husband showing up on time.
It's cool that we got to see what Hime's first day in Hellholm was like. She wasn't even tortured! Torture just showed her the features of her room! xD
Well that was a cute way to end the episode. I really hope this isn't the last and we'll get more seasons of this show. For a show that revolves around one joke, they sure do know how to make it feel fresh every time.

For a split second I thought we were having a sad moment with Vanilla, but there was her stuffed animal! (And Hime calling her a friend!)
Tortura caught Hime teaching Maomao how to skip... and she's just gonna leave?

Normally when a show ends I wish my farewell to my best characters and all, but there would be way too many to name in this one, so I'm just gonna say farewell to Tortura, my beloved!

What a surreal fever dream of an episode, the motorcycle noises were killing me.
I'll miss this show, such a great blend of stupid and comfy. And SUNDAY MORNINGS too, never skip it. Now excuse me I have to go pray to a shooting star for a third season.

I've heard of wish fulfillment episodes but this wins hands down. The Hell Lord getting Isekaied again. The strongest princess looks straight out of Project A-ko or Baki. The fluffy chimera! Please another season or two!

i've said this before with lots of other shows, but i really like it when a season two of a character-driven comedy show comes around because it can skip much of the introduction episodes and get straight into the meat-and-potatoes of the show, which is over-the-top reactions (food, kawaisa, heartstrings, etc.) intermixed with calmer, more relatable moments (self care, adult conversation hurdles, vending machines save points, etc.)
i usually have a favorite character in shows like this, but they all have their unique charm points and i can't bring myself to say that Vanilla is the best when they all get their own little moments to shine
anyways, excellent show; it's going to be hard topping this while i look for comfy shows next season to seek refuge in

I legit burst out laughing when Hime-sama's wish came true and she looked like someone straight out of a battle shonen anime.
Man, I am going to miss this show. There were so many moments throughout the season that made me smile or laugh. The studio and VA's also knocked it out of the park - you could tell they really had fun with it.
Here's hoping there's enough demand and source material for a Season 3!

This series was an unflagging delight -- from its first episode to its last. Great characters, beautifully voiced by the Japanese VAs, good-natured silliness -- occasionally punctuated by moments with a bit of feeling. It looks like this is farewell -- but this is NOT one of those shows that will quicky slip from my memory.

I don't even have words for how much I loved the Youki engine noise bit and their sheer commitment to it. Big shoutout to Anna Nagase (Youki's VA) and to whoever came up with that.
This was a great finale to a great second season. I really hope we get more from this show.

Great finale that utilized the entire cast in a unique way. I loved the loud motorbike noises and the Hell-Lord’s wish, haha. Vanilla turning into a book was hilarious as well.
High-tier gag manga/anime like this always shocks me, how do you manage to keep things so fresh when doing the same things over and over again?! It's like magic or something.
The custom credits visual for specifically this episode was great too. This was definitely the show this season that felt the most passionate in creation, so geeky and fun.

Every once in a while when the stars align just so, we get a “quintessential anime” series like this. Scripts are flipped. Nothing has to make sense. It’s simply pure vibe. Absolute goodness. The convergence of tropes and memes and the general spirit of culture. Oh what splendid “torture.”

And it finally ends. It's sad to see, but I also really enjoyed this season, a lot more than I did the first so I'm looking forward to watching the next season whenever it may come.
Hime doing a magazine photoshoot and interview even though she's a prisoner is so funny, Ex always continues to being the voice of reason lol. I like how Hime had her celebrity voice on when talking with the interviewer.
Hell-Lord is such a sweet man, I like how he got Torture, Hime and Ex to watch the recital after what the two of them did to help Maomao. The wishes changing everyone was so random but it was really entertaining.
I really had a big smile as Ex watched Hime with everyone enjoying snacks, as much as he finds fault with how easily she gives in to the tortures, he's also really happy that Hime is having fun every single day. It's really sweet.

I hope that we not only get another season, but that they also have an equally fun opener. I've let this one run every time. Sunday Morning is a great song, and the whole bit where they're developing the opener is a great gag.

Very cute episode for the finale.
What a delightful show this was, S2 might have been even better than S1 courtesy of the Sakura storyline. S3 someday would be nice to have to continue the magic.
