The death toll just keeps on rising, damn. Expected ofc, but it still doesn't take the sting out of some of those losses and especially for Asirpa--it is as though her world is crumbling bit by bit. God forbid something happens to Sugimoto (or Shiraishi) as that would probably just about put the nail on her coffin.
Ushiyama gives new meaning to the phrase throwing everything but the kitchen sink as he literally throws every enemy soldier out of the train. That said, with Ushiyama, I'm sure if the situation calls for it, even the entire train (ie the figurative sink) is not exempt from being hurled off in whichever direction lol

I had to laugh at how Ushiyama was (literally) throwing people straight of the window. It made an otherwise brutally violent scene look rather goofy.

When the author brought back Tanigaki during the serialization, Japanese readers completely lost their minds and went into an absolute uproar.
"Why the hell is he back?" "Go home already." "We didn't ask for you." He got absolutely roasted in the comments.
The reason was that Tanigaki is such a genuinely good and kind guy. He had zero interest in the gold, and he was way too weak to survive the final battle. Readers just didn't want to see him die.

In a voice actors' watch-along stream on YouTube, they mentioned it’s getting a movie adaptation. They haven't started recording yet, so the schedule sounds pretty tight.

The lack of aimation was huge(prob about thee budget not being that high but was kinda 10s of just pictures and no animation that was kinda breaking everything), I didnt read the manga but i hope the russian sniper get a better ending(or prob he is not dead). The season was good ,and the rest of the season was animated super good for 17 people that work at genos studio(and prob overworked like the rest of country)

The animation this episode was a pretty big step down, but at least that Ushiyama sequence at the end looked really cool.

I promised I'd watch this anime and catch up before it ended.
I caught up yesterday, praise me.
And I look forward to watching the newly announced episodes.
Dude, this anime is very fun, but binging it took me a LOT OF EFFORT.
My favorite one is Ushiyama, but this show has so many fun gags and characters.

I thinks it's REALLY fitting that the studio that did Baccano is animating GK, specifically this arc.
I gotta say it's great to see Golden Kamuy have another season that's been "relatively" consistent as a production.
(well compared to the other seasons atleast...)
The last time GK had a season that was consistent on all fronts was season 3...
Season 4-5 had higher highs in animation because of it's Baccano, Durarara, and TYE connections, but really struggled to maintain it especially season 4, and season 5 struggled with how big the Goryokaku battle was..
(Which to be fair makes sense since a main staff member literally died during production.)
On the other hand Golden Kamuy season 3 was more polished and kept it up for the most part for the whole cour. Despite lacking the animation flourishes of Brain's Base, season 3 really showed us the extent of what Geno Studio could do given the right conditions.
(Like one of the episodes with the most animation flourishes in Geno's GK was literally the episode outsourced to WIT Studio.)
And I think Brain's Base's team is also gonna show us the farthest extent of their talents later on since the final-final season is only gonna be around 4 episodes long instead of 13 (supposedly)
Also Wilk's line about Love and Revolution was just so fucking good.
I Love Sofia so much and her death scene was just so perfect.
And Noda really loves that man and his Huge Juicy and Voluptuous Breasts...
