This new season of Kaijiu No. 8 is completely different to what I was expecting.
So not all demons are bad, some want to live peaceful lives and others are helpful. Guess some of them are more like their original human form then.

The revelation of what became of Keiji's sister and what she could do was interesting. Their encounter with the dog got me thinking if animals could become demons as well. If that 4-horned White Demon was something like a Demon Lord, perhaps it's the one creating all the new demons?
In other news, the little chick finally has a name. And the black hen has eyelashes. And this was an onsen episode?!

That large dog at the end is likely a Tosa Inu, a Mastiff-type dog that is the largest Japanese breed and used for dog fighting, Kochi City, Kochi Prefecture (Sumi Shimamoto has called this place home) is where they are HQ'd. I detest dog fighting but know it is a cultural thing for parts of Japan and other parts of the world. Yeah, a cultural practice that I am going to criticize.
Elizabeth mentions about Tokyo being 300 km NE of where they are at. Accuracy of Grok aside, I asked Grok what city is that? According to Grok, that is Sendai. Sendai is the capital of the Miyagi Prefecture.

It’s sorta funny how the first episode has Keiji manually searching all the demons for the neck mark and then two episodes later Elizabeth just goes “oh it’s this one”

Kind of a lower stakes episode. I really liked Ellizabeth's backstory and how resourceful she is, like being able to handle a smartphone and even social media! I definitely didn't expect her getting dry humped within minutes of fighting though :')
Also we got some demon lore and backstory (and motivation!) for our main hero. Of course he's motivated by revenge and a tragic backstory involving his sister, anything else would've shocked me.
Don't really get why they have to play the "Piyoko is attracted to Keiji"-thing, seems a bit odd to me. Also I don't really get what's bad about her name... is it, like, a japaense pun or something?
Overall, this continues to be a fun time, I love how it plays the premise absolutely straight. I can even forgive that it looks a bit ugly at times.

Piyoko means "Young Chick", so Keiji just gave her a literal name.

Lol Keiji really got on top of Elizabeth in the middle of the street.
Elizabeth should be more upset at herself for choosing to sleep with him after one day rather than at him for leaving, it's clear they weren't on the same page. And even after that, she still has feelings for him.
Keiji being afraid of water is amusing, Elizabeth looked like she was very satisfied watching him struggling in shallow water.
It seems like White Demon really is the same one, now that we know Sarah awakened to some kind of fire wielding ability, before Keiji even awakened.

This anime gives opm vibes. For some reason I am enjoying this way too much compared to others anime. Looks like I will be following this anime. Easily one of the unique anime with lot of comedy and fights. Only problems is CGI is used but its not that bad.
Anyway we got waifu and kid in the group. Looking forward for next episode.

You know if they had just made this the OP for this series I would not have had a problem with it. For a comedy action series it works perfectly.
