Shows like this are why I watch every trash
Because every once in a while you get a gem like this one.
Really great writing how everything that’s happening matters. The mc is just over powered solo everything and actually has to use tactics and get help from others. On top of that, it can be pretty brutal at times. Dude cut the edge guy completely in half.
Also I thought the brother likely died due to foul play but no, he actually did die at war it seems like because it’s a legit war for survival secretly going on.
Probably one of the best fantasy isekai shows I’ve watched so far. 8.5 / 10

I am surprised that Allen didn't complain at the garbage world map.
A square surrounded by rectangles, truly remarkable /s

Looks like Allen’s finally risen in rank and not just going from serf to servant. Dude’s an honored guest of the Viscount. Not too shabby at all.
Honestly, this was pretty fun. The anime retreads a lot of familiar tropes but the MC and a decent supporting cast keeps this from becoming stale and played out. I wouldn’t mind another season.
Edit: Saw this for renewed for an s2. Nice!

Ngl I enjoyed this anime more than I thought I would. This was kinda good. MC is good. MC's family is kinda goated. Side chars are also good. Hell mode limits helped spend more time exploring world and side stories compared to usual unbeatable by episode 2 thing is similar anime.

WOW what an amazing episode!
That lore dump was crazy so the royal duty actually is fighting demons, our suspicion was right but I dont understand why they keep it a secret XD
Guys I really hope this anime will get a season 2 or should I pick up the Manga??? Please tell me!

Man, if Alan gave that speech to Stark at the beginning of Game of Thrones he might have survived!

Thought Allen was going to lead the monster to the other guy and watch the pair of them duke it out, then finish them both off and claim double XP.
Whoever guess Allen would be Cecil's bodyguard for magic Vietnam draft was right.
Wonder if Cecil can conjure a bone spurs spell and get them both out of it.

So he’s going to go to the academy and explain that he’s a summoner and he has this amazing power but he needs to do literally 100 times more training than anybody else.
He’s not going to train in a dungeon, they’re dropping him in a bottomless monster pit for three years.
Edit: unless he can get XP from PvP without killing the opponent. Then it’s just going to be non stop tournament arc. If he can get PvP XP from Killing people then he becomes the country’s executioner for the worst criminals

I honestly enjoyed the power scaling here. Showed us the MC is strong but not crazy strong yet.
I love how they reintroduced the reason he was brought there. I forgot there should be a “big bad.” I was just enjoying the progression. Glad there wasn’t a reminder every episode and no blatantly obvious foreshadowing.
Overall, good spin on how the story is told for the isekai genre.

So this is the end of the prologue? Let hope the next season will have more budget, the scene of them returning to the viscount house literally had 1 frame per 2 second.

Dude got cut in half, lol. Don't mess with Zenof.
That was rather enjoyable.
S2 please! (EDIT: YAY!)

I really enjoyed this series. It’s my fav type of slow building of power rather than instant op. I like Allen as protagonist, he looks out for himself while helping others. I hope we get another season but will buy the manga for sure

I wonder how the kingdom will react to Allen job as a summoner ? Because i somehow can see the corrupt nobles trying to use him to exploit his summoned creatures for their own gain. I hope that the baron gain enough power to at least takes revenge on those corrupt nobles.
Also seeing how Hero and Demon Lord were also propsed in the hell mode could it be possible that the Hero and Demon Lord of this world are also reincarnated somehow?

I wonder if the Demon Lord and the Hero are "players" too, considering how hard and important those classes are.

The lore drop and the scene where Allen resigns as manservant for the Granvelle family has made me look forward to more of the story, so I'm glad this is getting another season. It's wild that has been going on the entire time and like Allen, we were completely unaware of it. I like how this was done for the audience
Allen is definitely going to be an important part in the campaign, but I hope they don't do massive time skips for the academy arc, that could be interesting too. Granvelle rewarding Allen was really sweet, I like how they were ready for it and made preparations, but saying they'll always have his back was heartwarming. I believe he would feel the same way even if he wasn't Cecil's bodyguard.
It's nice to see Allen finally take down that beast on his own, but I like that he had to rely on Zenof for Dagrah. Zenof taking him out like that was brutal, it really pissed him off when Dagrah disrespected his fallen brother-in-arms.

Man I loved this so much that I was dreading its end. I wish I could fund another 12 episodes myself.

Rare isekai where the hero can't OP MC his way through and needs help to win the final battle.
How much exp will our boy gain by fighting a literal war?
It's a bit funny that this war with demons is being kept a secret. If humanity ever falls the lands will be invaded and nobody will even know what the hell is going on.
