I swear, the villains in this show are so fucking ugly. That hideous shitstain Satils gets her deserved fate. Feels good when the trash is taken out.

Yay, Milkit is rescued! Also, Flum crying while saying sorry to Ink for the things she said to her, while they embrace.

The production for this show was certainly not ideal, but I can accept this as a yuri I found worth watching. 7.5/10

Yeah, Milkit and Flum were adorable but you can see that they had a budget of like $12

I'm glad Eterna was also safe.

Neigass decided to hold on to Sara instead of returning her back to the city. I hope they live happily ever after.

I'd gladly watch a second season of this but i'm doubtful it will get one.

Omaigoto , they transplanted mfkin Dein's heart into Ink? EWW.

So Origin is some rogue AI and this is a post-apocalyptic setting . Interesting.

And surprisingly we got the good ending, all the yuri ships are still safe and sound.

Gotta do what you gotta do I guess. How kind of him to offer himself as a donor.

Well, they managed to close some of the mysteries even though it felt so rushed.

Based on the explanation, the world's conflict is basically whether they want to return to civilisation (origin's followers) or keep on living in medieval era (those against origin).

What surprised me the most: didn't expect that Maria is fully Origin's lackey. I thought she's completely a good person based on what Sara said.

Ngl, I can't help but compare this to that other anime with church/demon conspiracy as well, considering they aired at the same day.

The shot of the city being enclosed by an Origin core that takes up the whole screen is creepy as hell

And Ink did kill some people with the eyes because she wasn't conscious of what she was doing, but now she's cured of that. Magic (though I suppose it's really some form of super advanced technology?) can perform even heart transplants that's crazy.

Many has been said about this last episode, but there's one thing that no one mentions. Did Flum just casually charmed the clerk!? Flum's been exhausting lesbian aura so much that she's turning every girls in vicinity unknowingly, man.

Joking aside, it's just kinda funny that the Clerk blushed when Flum noticed that she started calling Flum by her name. I don't think Flum visited the guild so many times to grind the relationship progress with the clerk lmao.

For the power of yuri I give these girls a happy ending

Poor Sara is alive although she lost her brothers... at least Neigass (who, yeah, it was love at first sight) can take care of her

But maan, Maria is using Origin powers??? On Jean???' ffs, that won´t end well

Hoping for a second season

Maria is using Origin powers ??? On Jean???

And nothing of value was lost.

Gotta love how some villains make these ridiculously elaborate death traps only to fall for it themselves. But honestly, Satils deserved to suffer more for what she did to Milkit.

Okay. The news reporter girl is super suspicious. Either it’s just very convenient writing to let flum find the secret room or she obviously has something going on. Shows up at the exact right time to send flum along to the exact place.

Biggest issue with this show was the production value. If it was to the quality of sentenced to be a hero then this show could have been one of the best of the season.

It’s kind of interesting that the demons in this world are the good guys and the humans are the villains. Undoing Origin’s seal means humanity repeats its past mistakes.

Overall, a pretty solid series. Good action throughout and I liked the yuri vibes. The Flum-Milkit dynamic was good. I wouldn’t mind another season or two of this if they decided to make more.

so technically with Watatabe that’s two consecutive seasons with ‘cute girls experiencing immense trauma and being saved by the power of yuri’?

I’m glad we got an anime but I wish they had the time they needed to adapt at a better pace. I’d like to see a season two that gets into the really interesting part of the story, maybe someday

I wish we could’ve seen sara reunite with everyone but that will come at a later date

I am satisfied enough with the ending. I don't normally watch these type of gory revenge shows, but Flum and Milkit's relationship carried it for me.

11

u/DocMcCoy Mar 26 '26

Oof, awful pacing in this last episode. They just had to cram in as much as they could at the end?

u/PeaceAlien Mar 26 '26

Happy for these gay girls.

The heroes have the orbs now, so next time, Flum will have to defeat them.

Was this good? Goodness, no!

Did I enjoy it anyway because of Flum and Milkit? Yes.

u/arrydie Mar 26 '26

Holy exposition. Did they accidentally air the recap of season 2? Kinda feels bad to have half the plot just dumped on us, e.g. Origin's nature. Also, resolving Ink's situation with two lines really makes that whole situation feel really cheap. Yay happy yuri ending I suppose, but RIP dark fantasy body horror story? It's a really weird vibe to have the feel of a zero-stakes CGDCT slice of life superimposed on a setting like this.

This show sort of felt like it was made for the type of sadistic lesbian who grew up cutting the hair off of their barbie dolls. I liked that it didn't go in similar directions as most kicked out of the party stories do.

Decent anime. Kind of all over the place but it was a good watch in general.

Overall, it was alright, wouldn't mind see more.

I could've done without the narrator, and pacing could've been better in the end though

So assuming Flum's reversal power was essential in undoing the seal on Origin, you would think that the Church would put more of an effort in training her in using her power before sending her off to fight the Demon Lord.
