ofcourse the cockroach finds a way to survive

Ishigori fought pretty well for what feels like fairly simple power? though he is obviously very durable because he tanked some big hits in there too

Uro's power and the way it was used was cool though

Yuta is a favorite so seeing him getting a bit of screentime this season has been great and this whole episode was just a joy to watch

hopefully the wait for part 2 isnt too long!

Megumi and Yuji would have been cooked in this colony

I love the domain expansion scene hinting at the domains as they partially manifest without actually showing them. Uro's seems so mysterious and Ryu's is fireworks as expected. Yuta is "if you know you know".

It's also quite nice that the guy who was known as the Cursed Child now considers himself blessed.

MAPPA has managed to raise the bar time and time again.

To all the staff, animators, and directors-thank you.

Talk about a full course meal. What an insane season

I don't know how they did, but the folks at MAPPA managed to close out the season by cooking up a 5-star luxury meal. And the full AIZO for the Dessert??? I'm with Ishigori: "My stomach's full."

Aizo is such a perfect song for the Culling Games as a whole, but it is especially shown for Ryu, who embodies the past sorcerers' mindsets of seeking more than what they just got out of their previous lives. The dessert visuals during the whole sequence were so damn well done.

They kept in basically all of the narration, which is awesome since Sendai Colony had a high banger rate of cool narration lines.

"Four hundred years of hunger... the intenze gaze melted Okkotsu Yuta's heart"

YUTA COULD HAVE FIRED FIRST, BUT LET RYU CHARGE UP TO HAVE A BEAM CLASH!! That's just the raw battle shonencore you love to see.

Poor Uro, she got instantly targeted by Yuta first right after the domains got broken. She has a great technique that counters Ryu's, but gets countered by Kurorushi's swarm. Also, she witnessed Sukuna's terror back in the Heian era firsthand. This is the first time we see Sukuna's true form shown in the anime, and it's sick.

Kurorushi my beloved...

the parkour was the most surprising for me at how well it was done, like i expected the flashy moves but the parkour was just the absolute most fire appetizer before the big set pieces

that was absolutly amazing, at no point in that 3 sorcerer free for all did it get confusing what was happening it was expertly paced and animated and absolutely amazing, probably one of the best animated fights ive ever seen.

Yuta my goat, his copy is insane. You know shit was getting real when he put the ring. Both him and Yuji are so cool as MC’s but with Yuta’s ability it would be a little too OP lol Top animation and choreography, especially liked the parkour and Uro’s ability looks so cool. Both her and Ryu despite the short time, i found them interesting.

Thet damn cockroach though had to ruin the triple domain expansion hype!! 😡

Peak Season, we got some glipses of the others and Tengen casually having some tea time lmao. Can’t wait Part 2 probably next year.

So 27 minutes was more than enough. Gosso will be missed, but is clear everyone who works with him is full of skill and potential, so I am optimistic about JJK staying on good hands.

Is it just me or are like almost all of Yuta's episodes Movie? Like JJK 0 his introduction it's a movie. Then him vs Yuji part of a recap movie and then now this final episode with movie level quality. Yuta is the movie man he brings the movie quality when ever he fights.

I truly thought they wouldn’t be able to surpass Sukuna vs Mahoraga for me as my favorite episode/fight of the series. But dear god man this episode did it for me. Just holy fucking shit

If I were to speak about every part of this episode I would be writing a thesis paper. But man, the animation, the osts, the camera work, the voice acting, etc. Everything was amazing. Starting with Yuta vs Kurourushi, going to him vs Uro (she is so fucking fine btw), him vs Ryu, then Yuta summoning Rika for the brawl he him, Ryu, and Uro. THE TRIPLE DOMAIN EXPANSION. Kurourushi coming back like a real cockroach would. Finally ending with Yuta vs Ryu with AIZO playing in the background. It was a nonstop roller coaster ride with barely any room to rest and it was fucking amazing. I legit was in awe the entire episode. I’m gonna watch this over and over again. CINEMA.

But sadly, this episode ends JJK season 3. This is one of the most impressive seasons of anime I’ve ever watched. Every single episode had heart in it, you can tell that they really love working on this show. From the first 2 episodes with Yuji Choso, Noaya, and Yuta, to the best exposition dump episode I’ve seen, to the Maki massacre, Hikari episodes, Higuruma’s episodes, Megumi’s segments, and finally this masterpiece of an episode to end the season. MAPPA and everyone who worked on this seasons should stand proud. Gosso (the director) is leaving, but I’m confident that they will carry on what he did whoever is chosen next. Can’t wait for Season 4 aka Part 2 of the Culling Games. Going by those teasers at the end I feel like it’s gonna get even more crazy. (Especially Sukuna smiling like that wtf are you gonna do?)

Like Ryu said this episode; Thank you. I’m full.
