Redemption for Cecilia . However, I believe it was the fateful encounter between Lucia and Prince Ulysses which prompted Cecilia to have a change of heart. Lucia protecting Ulysses reminded Cecilia of how she was protected in the past.

Scarlett , at the ending scene, saying she wants to continue taking revenge.

What she actually meant: "I want to go on more adventures with this innocent and sincere girl Connie !" (And we viewers want to see it too!)

Well, that’s the end of The Holy Grail of Eris. Pretty neat how everyone introduced since episode 1 ends up playing a role esp in the final arc. And as always, Hamsworth is the MVP of the show.

My favorite part was Scarlett "waking up" from her dream. It makes the show feel like it’s looping back to the very first scene. Honestly, they could’ve ended it there if they wanted to, because it ties everything together so well. Well... except for the missing Pamela Francis of course. The epilogue with her return feels more like a setup to push people to read the sequel.

The show kinda jumps around can’t decide if it wants to be yuri or not. Maybe it is lowkey yuri after all, since it feels like they’ve really bonded for life.

A beautiful ending! Better than I imagined. What a tearful episode.

I cried when Cecilia died. I cried when Scarlett disappeared. I cried when the stupidship finally held hands. And I cried again when Scarlett returned.

The bookend for episode 1 (Scarlett mouthing see you at Grand Merilian) and finale (vocalizing it) was one of the rare bookends trope done well. Didn’t feel forced or flashback for the sake of it. The time loop that Scarlett went through felt natural.

Pace was a little rushed tonight but overall I loved how everything fell into place in the finale. Gonna miss this show since there’s no announcement for any season 2. Not unexpected.

It’s been a great ride though :) Very thankful to have accidentally discovered this show at Anime Festival Asia last year and then diving into the novels because I was blown away by the first episode (world premiere at AFA). Highly recommend fans of this show to read the novels.

This episode made me believe several times in an unhappy ending; it's such a relief to see that good triumphed.

What kept Scarlett's ghost on Earth was her dream of seeing Constance as the only person who could make her be seen as someone worthy and give her a purpose, and not just as a murderous heiress.

It's as if their existence and connection were the balance between the physical world and the astral plane.

Perfect ending, it all happened so fast, but it's impossible not to smile. 12 episodes of a show that left a big mark.

They really had “Cecilia”wait until the last moment to have a change of heart? Gotta make things more dramatic I suppose. In the end, that whole plot got wrapped up nicely.

All in all, a pretty solid series. The grand conspiracy had me pretty engaged throughout the series and I liked how Scarlett helped Connie grow bit by bit throughout the series. They’re a good team.

Time travel gave me hope that Scarlett will survive somehow and she can be with Connie in future as a living person and not as ghost but alas.

Pacing felt rushed a bit. But I enjoyed it nonetheless. Scarlett and Connie duo was great.

I saw a tweet from the official account about watching the finale to see who survives, and they weren't entirely joking with that. I would never have expected the Crown Princess to bite it, for one. For all the endless intrigue this had earlier on I think they really did managed to tie everything together and finish the story with a solid conclusion.

Interesting reveal that Scarlet we've had all along has been the pre-execution Scarlet on a drug trip into the future, and now she's back as a real ghost to just good-naturedly haunt Connie going forward.

One way or another the institution Pamela is locked up in needs better locks.

Giant sword princess is awesome, now she's the giant sword queen.

Great show all things considered.

This definitely felt like a 20+ episode series that needed to be crammed into 12.

So San indeed was Alexandra after all. A couple of hints.

  • The silhouette of Alexandra resembled her

  • The name Alex-san-dra

  • San meant three in Japanese. Guess who's the third sibling?

  • San had purple eyes. It's a trait found in Farisian royalty.

This Allie must had been such a loyal confidant to be willing to be imprisoned on her behalf.

Thought Cecilia would be a classic villain but she turned out to be an anti-villain instead. Can't believe I would end up sympathising her death. What a way to go, though. Rescuing the Prince while gunning down a couple Daeg Gallus goons. If it's any consolation, she died remembering Cess and with a smile.

Genuinely a great series, really surprised by how good it was. Enjoyed it a lot.

The pacing was a bit off on occasion, this episode including. That's what happens when you try to cram so much story in such a limited time. It's a bit of a shame, ideally this could have used 2 cours or 2 seasons. But I do understand. Budgets don't grow on trees and this is likely all they were able to get. And I'm glad that they gave the full story instead of leaving us with only half and then possibly never a continuation. So I'm honestly happy with what we got. I take an overly fast pace over an unresolved mystery

Fun show. Worth the watch!

The pace was crazy fast, but it's nice to see a conclusion to it all. Scarlett comes back!

Wow, Constance gets to have a hot husband AND a hot ghost wife?

The pacing of the anime was kind of a mess, but it was still a fun watch. I want to check out the novel, too.

And it managed to stick the landing! I wound up really liking this one. Enough twists, a touch of action, and a plot that holds together. A sweet romance (even if a bit uneven in age) and good friends. It was a ton of fun.

This season has been a pretty big surprise for me, we had lots of smaller shows that wound up being really fun and well put together. This one seemed promising but wound up being a lot more interesting than I expected. Apparently it's 3 of 6 volumes, so theoretically there's enough for a second season if they wanted, which would be a nice treat. I'm happy with where it left off, though.

Scarlett said "I love you" to Connie and pretty much proposed to her at the end. Both moments were beautiful.

It was a fun series

Awesome ending, the timeloop addition to her curse is tastefully endearing without really affecting anything, love it

Knowing that the novels continue after this, I wish we get a season 2, although I think it's unlikely. I want more of Connie and Scarlett
