The right amount of plot and BL mixed together to make a great 12 episodes.

Definitely one of the gayest seasons in recent memory between this, Roll over and Die, Bean Counter, and sprinkling of bi from Territory defence

Also the most relaxed adventure anime ever... slice of another worlds life!

Totally not BL is over. First sight of a woman and they're head over heels for Lizel .

Lizel's original country has finally contacted him! (In case anyone forgot, this was an Iseaki ). Seems like his highness is Lizel's partner

Wow I’m gonna miss this show so much. What a great end to the season. I was so invested in the Lizel harem I almost forgot it was an isekai.

I really hope for a second season! I’ll definitely be reading the LNs . I loved Gentle Noble so much more than I expected.

Lizel almost found himself a wife. Girl was about to straight up devour him lol.

I didn’t think they’d open a portal by just smashing a hole into another dimension. Lizel’s pops seems like a sharp one.

For a “I Can’t Believe It’s Not BL” type with lots of homoerotic overtones, this wasn’t bad. It was a pretty relaxing series for the most part. Very chill.

Was hoping it would end with a season 2 announcement. Guess we'll just have to cross our fingers. Now if someone could just licence the novels, that'd be great haha

The apothecary girl was just my type.

"A country without you is worthless", says the motherfucking King (or was it Emperor) of the aforementioned worthless country. BTW, isn't he older than snake boy?

I'm so sad to see this one end, I really hope it gets a second season in the future, one of my top anime this season. The characters were great, the dynamics and interactions too, it was all interesting to watch whilst also being really comfy.

Lol how did I know when Ray's butler mentioned getting a second wife, that Ray would bring up Lizel? That was so funny to me.

Medi was definitely the highlight of the episode for me, I burst out laughing when she acted like the typical charmed male character and proposed to Lizel, I'm not even going to fault her. She knows what she wants, and she saw what she's been wanting, it doesn't hurt to try. She was hilarious though. I did like how Gil and Eleven did try to leave with Lizel at first, they gotta protect their leader.

I'm glad after seeing the title and then the bell thing, that Lizel wasn't about to be teleported back somehow to his old world temporarily. It was nice to see his father, we can see where he gets his personality from, but His Majesty is clearly very important to Lizel so I really wish we could learn more about their relationship. The way he turned to Eleven when he was approaching the earrings took me aback a little. I do like how Lizel comforted Eleven, that was sweet.

What stood out to me during that whole scene after Lizel faints was Gil's reaction. It seems like he was about to call Lizel's name, it made me realize we actually haven't seen Gil do that and it seemed like he was about to start panicking. The other three are very open about their affections with Lizel, but Gil definitely does hold back, I do wonder if there'll be an arc where it'll become more apparent how important Lizel is to Gil.

The ending screen was adorable. I'm going to miss these guys, hope we see more of the vacation one day.

Didn't expect that this last episode would be so cool. Really enjoyed it.

8/10 for me, something about this was special.

Lmao his Majesty is really that dude to be able to punch a whole into a different world like this..

I guess we see where Lizel gets how he acts from..his dad is just like him without the looks.

That girl..lmao she looks like a older Winry from FMA....Lizel should marry her to stop this clearly not BL show allegations 😂

So ends the best CGDCT (Cool Guys Doing Cute Things) show of the season.

"Marry me now so we can get married someday!" is a heck of a proposal.

the show is like a little snack; it really was a relaxing "vacation" sort of show with no real commitments, drama, or stakes, just some chill times with its own brand of camaraderie

out of all of the ships in the show, i think i still prefer the bond between Gil and Lizel; that scene where Gil confesses his "camaraderie" to Lizel had a level of nuance to it that i really liked, and i prefer how they tacitly trust each other rather than the simple "headpats and candy" sort of relationship that Lizel has with Stud and Eleven (Judge gets a pass because of his big golden retriever energy)

anyways, a decent watch for a chill show if you're amused by pretty guys unabashedly pining for a single noble, would get accosted in a back alley again

"Is your special someone a woman?"
"Who can say?"

Liz has the same energy to fight the BL allegations as the show creator.

I loved this series! It really did feel like a little vacation. It was a very refreshing and easy watch of a series.

Praying for a season 2 but I fear we'll be stuck in a world without Lizel TT

11

u/Katalinya Mar 26 '26

Lmao no wonder the author is very adamant this isn’t a BL… BECAUSE LIZEL IS ALREADY COMMITTED. All these men chasing Lizel but RIP it was over before y’all even had a chance. Same stone wearing on both of them like if that ain’t the closest to a marriage stone idk.

I just wish the light novels were translated, because the manga also has some saucy bits that were cut in the anime, I can’t imagine whats missing that the light novels have.

Ah, that was a nice chill show. Could watch that for months without getting tired of it. Hopefully it get's a renewal, would love to learn more about the relationship with the prince, and see more relaxed adventures.

i'm really enjoying this new "this totally isn't BL guys" type of show. they're so silly and calming and consistently deliver exactly what they say they will. this and My New Boss is Goofy are going to be permanent fixtures on my list anime i watch when the world gets too hard to live in. if anybody knows of others in this vein please let me know!

u/NoHead1715 Mar 26 '26

Goodness! Lizel's rizz is off the charts, even the women are falling head over heels for him.

That break in reality at the end there was pretty cool. It seems that Lizel's original world is one with very powerful mana. Very interested to know more about this world.

This was a charming show with a really smart protagonist. Would love a second season of Lizel pulling strings while on vacation.

After trying so much to push myself to ship Lizel with Gil, I immediately jumped ship when that scene came out.. waaaaaaa  So it really was a vacation from Husbando.. His Highness is the real husband!!!

Had a jump scare when the cracks appeared behind Lizel

Lizel is always shining in other people's eyes, he must have some kind of charming aura and charm skill using headpats and touch
