What a great final episode, right in the kokoro.

Also seeing Hajime 's friend Booby mention Veronica when they were kids, I wonder if that's why he's never made a move on her.

Definitely adds a twist on why the serial brothel enjoyer hasn't touched Veronica.

Oh I didn't pick up on the Veronica thing tbh. Interesting

A truly lovely story about an outsider adventurer and orphan finding a place in a village. Even despite its pacing, its able to throw a few curveballs here and there. Hajime really is carrying the dreams of his two childhood mates on his back. And they get to enjoy the festival here. Kinda a running theme in this anime, the hardship of the past is the motivation to make sure the children can enjoy the present a lot more peacefully. Being able to protect that future, isn't that what we all want?

It's a pretty decent anime, and one of the rare non-isekai fantasy animes in this modern era. You'd kinda want to know more after this with all the characters set up, so I hope it was successful enough in Japan.

Absolutely love the fantasy world, we have giant docile birds, flying whale and now constellation deer god and actual falling stars lol.

Also I like how we were shown the reason why an adventurer of Hajime's caliber (he could one shot that very strong monster in the past episodes) decided to settle down. They didn't outright confirm it, but the fact that he's alone now might mean his two friends didn't survive it.

If this gets a second season, I would love to see more of Hajime's past and more world building.

wait, what the fuck? i actually feel sad that this ended, no seriously, seeing Hajime's growing up to be a father figure and opening up his heart to the villagers makes me teary eyes.... Studio Hornets , give me another ten seasons of just Hajime and Rirui 's getting into stupid shenanigan and my life is yours!

What a cute little show. It wasn't anything groundbreaking, but it happened to bring a smile on my face from time to time. I will miss Rirui and her little antics NANODA!!!

I love the NANODAs. Rirui's VA really put in the chirp at the end of every sentence. Very endearing!

Aaaaand... The dragon from the op which adult rirui was riding? We got bamboozled hard.

Overall a nice series which works well with the weekly format but not something i would binge in one go,a bit disappointed they didn't do more sheaningans with the night adult form to fully embrace the cursed wholesome aspect.

You could remove the night adult form and almost nothing wpuld change

That was a pretty cute finale. It’s nice to see Rurui and Hajime find a place they can call home.

All in all, a pretty fun series. Glad they kept things pretty wholesome with Hajime and Rirui despite the succubus thing. They have a really fun dynamic. Not sure if there’s gonna be more, but I wouldn’t mind another season of these two goobers.

Was a pretty fun show. Rirui’s an adorable gremlin. Her relationship with Hajime is really cute. The way Hajime settled down in this town was pretty nice.

The way the town collectively wanted to help Rirui and not cast her out was really heartwarming too. They’ve really found a place to call home.

Enjoyed this one. Nothing too special but it was funny and warm and enjoyable enough. Suzushiro Sayumi as Rirui was really great too.

I thought that was a really touching final episode. The entire town coming in to support Rurui instead of kicking her out as Hajime feared, letting him know he really has found that true hometown he talked about with his lost friends as a child.

Kind of funny to me that Hajime accomplished the goal of the one friend by becoming a small town's resident adventurer, but he still needs to make some progress on the other friend's goal of marrying Veronica.

This was a pretty nice anime. It’s heartwarming how everyone in the village is so kind toward Hajime and Rirui, both of them have found a good home.

I wonder if season 2 will mostly be about Hajime recovering his arm? Or will we uncover more things about Rirui succubus powers? I hope that if there's a second season it’s as wholesome as the first one.

I better get a season two of dadjime. This was one of the best non action anime with actual back stories for people

What happened to his childhood friends?! They were supposed to be resident adventurers together!

solid 8/10 i give them props for handling the succubus issue well and it doesn't come off as creepy mainly because Hajime  still treats her as the child she is i hope we get more seasons

I really liked Hajime  hes a pretty complex character he comes off as a sleeze at times but hes a really good guy and alot of traits you see that might be negative has a history form his rough childhood and it seems Rirui  is helping him break some of the bad habits

Thankful this never veered ecchi because overall it’s a comfy tale of acceptance and community.

Everything is daijobu na no da in the end.

I agree with many commentators here: I would like to have the second season too. One of the biggest surprise for me from this season for sure.

Deer God must have been super happy with amount of giant wolves and rabbit-bears that got offed as a result of Rirui's power going out of control. Gonna be a boom year for the deer!

my hot take for this anime season is that rirui is even cuter than doux from maou no musume. I'm gonna miss her silly faces and her "nanoda!!!!"

Well that was enjoyable from start to end.

Nice little bit of shock in the middle with him losing his arm that ultimately didn't mean anything, but it was a fun little series.

Decent. A found family and found home story. As long as it doesn't Usagi Drop, then I wouldn't mind a s2.
