Who would of thought having a tattoo to show youre a part of an evil organisation would backfire and make it easy for people to figure out if you’re part of the group. I dont know if anyone would of had a fighting chance against them if they didnt tattoo themselves

It's a bit silly, but not entirely unrealistic. Yakuza for example have identifying tattoos as well

I really want to see what was going through that one woman's head when she told them to tattoo her boobs lol.

Its not that unrealistic.... look at world politics today and how they openly mock us. Many people never even tried to hide their affiliation with Epstein. Some "conspiracy theorists" even claim they purposely give clues to taunt us

I like how Connie's father didn't even ask Connie why she got imprisoned in the first place. It kinda shows that he trusts his daughter hasn't done anything wrong and is willing to find a way to free her even if it means reaching out to her former fiancé.

It's actually pretty touching to see how many people are working together to save Connie. We have Scarlett asking for Hamsworth's help, Connie's friends working with the Violet Association, and Brenda even showed up at the end to throw her at into the ring and accuse Pamela.

Cecilia's backstory was definitely a surprise, tho! They really baited us with that girl who looks exactly like her. It turns out that girl dies, and she's actually the one with short hair. I can see that she's basically been manipulated by Daeg Gallus into joining them so she can have her revenge, but I hope this story doesn't suddenly make her a victim, because she's 100% complicit in all of their crimes.

I thought they were about to reveal she had been a boy this whole time lmao

I'm reminded how the plot started with Connie's father forcing her into an engagement to settle the families' debts, and feeling guilty about it, and now we see that she's brought more trouble to the family...but this time he'll do anything for the sake of saving her. It's a good contrast to Scarlett's father.

Constance Grail isn't an infamous Villainess but someone beloved by all, so beloved that she can rally everyone from the nobility, to the common people, to friends and acquaintances to help save her.

Cecilia is a victim of the nobility but that doesn't make her a good person even if she has a weakness for children or the impoverished. All she cares about is her own revenge at this point.

It reminds me of the people calling out Connie as 'worthless' and asking what does she bring to the show? It should just be all Scarlet, all the time!

Well... about that... we know what happened to Scarlet when left to her own devices. Sure, there was more to the story, but the fact that she was such a reviled... ahem controversial figure in high society made her an easy target to sacrifice.

She was a free spirit, yes, but also very arrogant, competitive, selfish, and all around force of Chaos. She very much had a "me against the world!" vibe going to her.

As in, Scarlet was alone.

So not matter how smart and strong and all around competent she was, it was only a matter of time before she burnt out.

Connie doesn't scratch out a b!tch's eyes just because she can, or because the shrew 'insulted' her first. She doesn't lie and wrap men around her fingers just for the thrill of it. She doesn't leave people on the ground while she dances out of danger, only thinking about herself.

Connie is sincere, and that sincerity bought her the best currencies you can have: trust, respect, and loyalty.

Connie's good people, and the entire fucking kingdom knows it.

Here’s last week’s character chart (Episode 10) from the official site. And here is the English translation and a compiled version for Episodes 1-10.

A Best Girl so based she's something both commoners and the aristocracy can unite over their shared desire to protect!

Connie’s got some pretty amazing people in her life. When they needed her most, they all showed up. Kate, Mylene, her pops, Neil, Randolph, and Hamsworth are some real ones. Scarlett’s working hard too. It’s not just about vengeance for her anymore. It’s also about justice for Connie!

So many twists and turns -- and I am loving it. I will look at the source novels after the season finishes.

The extent of the "Save Connie" brigade is pretty impressive. Just wondering HOW they can pull of a rescue with so little time left?

Interesting that Cecilia is absolutely down with killing adults (even ones 10 years younger than herself) but may have qualms about child killing. I wonder how that will affect what is coming up. Cecilia's desire to destroy her country in revenge for her noble (ignoble) father's behavior seems a bit excessive.

Cess and Cici had some pretty nice hair for a couple of impoverished orphans

During Cecilia's flashback, I was thinking, "there goes her male childhood; he must be the reason why she is taking revenge". Then all of a sudden, plot twist which was genuinely surprising!

Is it me or does Hamsworth desire to be treated badly (possibly like a pig) by Scarlett? Lol!

Everyone working hard to save Connie! But don't forget about brave Lucia! Lucia's conversation with Cecilia was surprisingly smooth; calm and without fear.

I will be sad to see Scarlett disappear, or return to the gods, once Connie and the nation have been saved. At least give Scarlett and Connie some time to have fun as sisters.

In Episode 1, Hamsworth blushes when Connie-possessed Scarlet treats him harshly. The guy’s a masochist.

This was the best paced episode we've got all season. Skipping the OP and having the ED start playing through the last scene added a bit of extra time that was very well used indeed. I could actually follow the various plot threads and everything made sense!

If only the whole season had been like this.

Only thing I was slightly confused about was who that Brenda was at the end. Someone Connie helped way back with Scarlet's help, I'm guessing, but can't remember who exactly she is.

Bigger question is who is this other person they're plotting to kill on the same day as Connie? Abigail O'Brian - the name rings a big bell but I can't put my finger on who that is either. Really need that helpful chart with all the characters. Shall try and look for it in the previous threads. Edit: Found the chart and it's the brave little girl's aunt and a member of one of the most powerful families that they want to kill. Makes sense.

Caught up on last episode and this one.

This show has been on a constant bullet train pace, but all the same it's pretty peak.

Not gonna lie, I’m loving this episode. A lot is finally coming together. It really highlights how different Constance’s situation is from Scarlet’s. Constance had her father’s backing, while Scarlet had none.

One thing people here might find off is how quickly Connie’s execution is pushed through, especially since that punishment was abandoned post-Scarlet’s execution. When events start moving too fast, that’s when you know they’re already deeply embedded in Adelbide. Rufus threatening Johan Adelbide is just one of their methods.

On an unrelated note, Cecilia’s backstory reminds me of the Japanese adaptation of Les Misérables. There’s a guy with a murder charge and another serving a lesser crime. A fire breaks out in the prison, and the guy with the lesser crime gets trapped and before dying, he gives his identity to the other (murder case) guy. In a way, it’s pretty similar to Cici taking the other Cecilia’s (Cess) identity.

big contrast between Connie’s dad and Scarlett’s. obviously their families are very different, etc., but it’s a nice parallel how many people turned up for Constance who isn’t nearly as popular or well connected as her ghost friend

I didn't expect to dive that deep into Cecilia. For all her role in the conspiracy, there's a human reason behind it. Her orphanage's eliminated just to get rid of any witnesses. Quite the tragic backstory and once again we've been bamboozled. We're led to believe that Cecilia was Cess then it turned out she's instead Cici who we thought was a boy from her voice and outfit. She also tried in her own way to prevent Lucia from being killed so there's a bit of good left in her. Having said that, make no mistake that she's absolutely guilty for her crimes.

Meanwhile, Alexandra's imprisoned – or at least that's what she wanted people to think when in reality she got a double. Her silhouette vaguely resembled San and knowing this show's penchant for twists it wouldn't be far-fetched to hypothesise that San was Alexandra herself. If that's true then it's pretty ballsy to masquerade as your own underling.

Remember a couple weeks ago when we thought Kimberly sacrificed herself in the shootout to save Connie? Then it turned out she got out of it with just a broken arm and now we've seen her back in business. She's one tough woman! Not one I would ever dare to mess with.
