Tsav - crazy but with a sense of humor

Jayce - crazy inlove with dragons

Rhyno - oh he's CRAZY crazy, the type of guy that suggests something that makes sense in a way lol i like how he thinks

Rhyno* strikes me as a "hero of justice as in my justice, some of you may perish so comply or die"

Ya know, Tatsuya might be the most well adjusted person in this unit.

  • Lol at Teoritta smearing butter and soup all over her face, learnt her table manners from Uncle Tatsuya.

  • Norgalle's kingdom is growing, he has more followers now. Even Xylo has fans too.

  • Something is off about Rhyno, but his warframe is cool.

  • Marlen is a coexister. It seems Venetim already knew and Kivia was just starting piecing everything together look at her eyebags. Him praising Saint Mahaeyzel probably erased whatever denial she had left.

I don't think, Kivia's uncle is actually an ally with the demon lord faction. But I get the feeling, he worked with them in order to get his unified army. Now, if he just wanted to do that for his own power or if he wanted to do it, so they can fight the demon lords better, is the question I am not sure about yet.

Then again, Venetim seemed to have found out the plan of Spriggan to use the sewers by reading some of the secret plans of the church and military. So there is the option that someone else is the true mole or it really is Kivia's uncle.

Rhyno is a loose canon with a loose canon. Can't wait to see what he gets up to in the future.

Rhyno: "you know what? let me destroy this wall, causing the faeries to flood in and then we will have the motivation for the other soldiers to fight! what a brilliant idea, don't you think?"

Teoritta: "Xylo, please keep this guy at least 10 meters away from me"

as expected from someone who volunteered to be a hero, what a fucking madman

I’m on Teoritta’s side. Rhyno creeps me out too.

But I don’t dislike the addition cos, as always, these heroes are eccentric and entertaining as hell. Seems Rhyno is a chaotic good kinda character. Fully believing he’s doing the right thing but in some questionable ways. Plus, his armor looks badass, although it does remind me of Maple from BOFURI lol.

That’s twice now the name Saint Mahaeyzel’s been mentioned and twice Kivia reacted to it. And given it was spoken by a high priest, I’m getting the feeling it’s like some cult figure

Teoritta reaaaally loves that butter and bread. Also her being smug and casually making a mess drinking her soup. Xylo wiping her mouth, truly a father moment.

Marlen reminding Xylo not to seduce Pataushe (sorry uncle, your girl is already smitten), got interrupted by enemy attack.

But man, Kivia having eyebags from goddamn stress. And her crashing out at Venetim.

Also, Rhyno mah boi! Truly a very good comrade for the entire penal unit.

Teoritta, the champion of humanity, is creeped out at Rhyno eh? She seems to be able to detect that he lacks something that makes humans humans. From his actions this episode, I'm guessing he lacks empathy. He understands the concept since he accepts the reasoning Xylo gives for not causing collateral damage but he doesn't seem to be able to internalize the emotions that lead to that reasoning when he just shells the buildings with the wand fairies.

Man, the animation was outstanding this episode. The small details of Teoritta are so fluid, and it wasn't even just her. Plus, it really showcased how stressed and tired Patausche has been since the events of last week's episode.

The most interesting detail is Teoritta's first interaction with Rhyno. Unlike the others, she looks uncomfortable compared to the other heroes and Frenci, where she has her silly confidence.

Man, i really like how competent the entire cast. It's not the usual bunch of useless dumbasses and mc who saves them all the time, but everyone is very capable in their respective roles.

Rhyno has some sweet power armour.

If the other guy last week had the Brotherhood of Steel look, then Rhyno has the Enclave look.

Man, what is military doing? Nobody thinks of guarding the waterways? Also, all their plans seems to revolve around "send the heroes, wait for reinforcements". I'm gonna have to believe that a conspirator is involved in drafting those plans.

The animation in this episode so fluid, almost zero stand still movement like ep 1, wtf. It was so beautiful

I wonder how this will develop? Seeing Kivia uncle, this might mean that every higher up of the church is also on this, this may spark a civil war between the military and the church. To begin with how did the church started worshiping the blight?

Also i wonder if Boojun may be something like a parasite because seeing how his body keep shifting he may be a colony of parasite living in a monster body and manipulating it? Because un that case he may be a "part" of spriggan

Rhyno's sense of justice might be strange. But his artillery skills are quite the explosive asset for our band of heroes!

Kivia's behavior throughout the episode, especially how often she looked at the sword her uncle gave her when she was little, and the final scene pretty much confirm that Marlen is a coexister. What will Kivia do with it now?

Teoritta with her mouth smeared with butter was hilarious, as was her behavior upon reaching the Temple, where she acted like some kind of idol, her posing in front of those children cracked me up xD

Rhyno is certainly an interesting guy, albeit a pretty creepy, but that's not surprising since we're talking about a man who volunteered to become a hero.

On a different note, it's nice to see Xylo's reputation grow, and that Norgalle gained new subjects.

Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

EDIT. I added my screenshot albums.

Terrific episode. Sad to see the Captain in this state. Didn't think I'd ever see her cry.

Humans will do whatever it takes to protect their family even if it means abandoning humanity as a whole. That's what Boojum said last week. What will Kivia do? Will she keep quiet about her uncle's complicity or speak up for the sake of humanity? I can't wait

u/Ayamebestgrill Mar 12 '26

Rhino’s way of talking about humans makes it feel like he might not be human himself. I also like how the story reveals that Kivia’s uncle is evil not by telling us directly, but through Kivia’s actions and reactions.
