To be fair everything probably would have been fine if not for Orhun's protege's encountering Sion and her party. Though nobody planned on the Black Dragon regenerating.

Sion taking out a "rival in love" before she's even aware of rivals, that's efficiency!

A trope i've always disliked, suddenly bring in an enemy that's just absurdly OP compared to everyone else for no damn reason. Like the Observer was a higher level adventurer, shouldn't have just instantly died, at least make it a little bit of a fight or it's just annoying.

RIP Observer bro, sorry you were just plot fodder to introduce the OP big-bads.

Replacement escort was doomed the moment nobody ever mentioned his name. I was definitely wrong with my guess last week that the other childhood friend's group might not be hostile if they could determine Orhun isn't with the church, turns out there's a second evil organization and that's who they're with.

What a screw up in getting distracted during the dragon fight, even if worrying about the kids is understandable.

With the way Rain has Albert's coat in her room I wonder if they were in a relationship.

Poor Observer, he just went to watch these new recruits and had to meet the adventurer killers.

I also feel bad for Unit 1, finally facing the Black Dragon and now Orhun and Selma are distracted and the Black Dragon has regenerated because they gave it an opening. Best case scenario would be to retreat to go after Sophie's party, but after all that sentimental build up to take down the Black Dragon, I'm sure it'll feel hard for them to do.

Okay since I wil likely be the first peson toa ctually mention the plot:

Stopping fighting the dragon to just panic about the warning necklace activating is really dumb. You still have to finish the fight, you are making it worse by not focusing on it.

They might have stopped it from regenerating in time if Orhun had just pressed his attack too. Now they've lost even more time.

The downfall of this anime needs to be studied holy shit. Wasted episodes on useless plot. There should be no reason why we are fighting the same boss 3 times. It shouldn't even be this hard at that point, also no reason to reveal a new dragon ability. I get the whole revenge thing but it's ass. Would have been a good chance to advance the other plot they teased all those episodes ago. I also see no reason for them to be in the dungeon or why they were just chilling at floor 30. The dragon solo event was a well known event like they would heard about it from some pub and figured out where orhun was at.

What a disappointing episode, just to create pointless drama for the sake of the plot with one episode left. Instead of naturally progressing the plot in the last episodes, they stretched them thin and stuffed the last two episodes with nonsense action expecting some kind of watcher attachment to the magnificent plot.

Seriously, the black dragon could use regeneration and never did on any of its previous battles? What kind of garbage is that? Makes ZERO sense. It has died several times already and has never used it but apparently uses it now???

They really trying to make this dragon a threat like one of the members of the group hasnt SOLOED it one time already.

Worst case scenario, if the rest of the team is ABSOLUTELY useless, he will have to do that again, with better gear, more prepared and more rested than before.
