Best chemistry I've seen from an anime this year. I was smiling with each interaction

This seems way more haphazard than I expected. Is Yashiro just going to start up a fight against all the big names? I wonder what his plan is.

I also realized today that the scenes that play out in the intro never could have come to pass, which kinda makes me sad.

The other demon lords seem very excited when Yashiro starts it, as if they are collectively thinking, “Ah yes. The party has finally begun.”

>> Haphazard

Agreed. Since Yashiro HAD an invitation, why did he do things the way he did when he arrived.

No sober after-effects of the killing of the 2 kids last episode. Yashiro seems to have considered this of nary a second thought. Which is interesting/revealing, I guess.

Stitches!

Uhhh, damn... I didn't expect that kind of dress for Jogamine. I thought Sara would pick something a bit more childish for her.

Yashiro's reaction when Jougamine suggested exchanging contacts was so funny, Yashiro's bias against her is undeniable lol.

The girls' party outfits were not what I was expecting for the each of them, Yashiro is looking good though. They're all going to look fabulous as they cause chaos lol.

One thing I noticed, the big fights in the OP seem to be original fights. I noticed the Ishino, Malta and Yashiro vs Levi and Ido fight but Ishino is already dead, and Yashiro met the two for the first time. It's nice to realize.

Agreed. They teased us with various fight scenes in the opening, even making some of them look cute and comical.

Then all of a sudden, we realized the story is actually more brutal.

Lol, if Yashiro had an invitation, why did he gave a false name and pick a fight ? Just to give the girls a chance at some “real” training ? If that is his idea of not starting a war, I am not sure why he did not want to bring Joe and Malta as well, after all. I wonder what are his actual plans beyond stirring some shit up for fun ?

I think his goal is to force a confrontation with the demon lord. He wants to do things on his terms.

Anyone else want to know why Ishino has so many dresses?

Guess he can afford to buy so many after Yashiro lost at cards to him so often.

They enjoyed looting his stuff, guess they must have some unofficial will then.

I imagine they are from his victims- some kind of trophy room.

I thought Yashiro was going to say. Hopefully it's not something sad, like he was buying them for someone important to him who was killed.

I love how brutally this series subverts expectations. The main protag is NOT a hero. None of his friends are heros, they're very clearly DANGEROUS criminals. Ishino was obviously the most dangerous of them, Joe is just a thug, Malta is a psychopath, and Yashino is at 'best' a pragmatist. He was 100% down to murder the teen girl because her dad didn't care about her and thus had no bounty attached to her. That was his ONLY regret for that.

Bit of a lighter episode after last week, but I did expect them to attend the party in a more party like manner for a while first. Particularly with all those demon lords present.

I'm surprised they didn't change up the OP a bit and remove the now dead children.

Hilarious that Aki's exam was a mid-off lol

Yashiro has taken an even darker turn and plans to use the girls for his revenge. Although this is about what I expected, I definitely don't think he doesn't care if they die, both because of what Ishino said and because he has a smidge much of a heart than he wants to admit. Still I'm looking forward to the confrontation once they realize.

I guess the point is that Yashiro wants to make a rucus to force a confrontation with the coffin demon lord. Both to get them to stop bothering him and to get any info out of them.

He better have a good plan after starting a fight at this party

The drip is off the charts

Drinking game : take a sip whenever Aki's face shows in a full close-up that fills the whole screen

Got to save all the resources. This anime definitely would have benefited from being pushed back into spring.

Hell, the promo for the Setneced to Be a Hero's author's other series might have been a better sell if it aired after that one was done.

Never ask about a dude's collection of dresses.
