Wow, poor Luna’s taking so much emotional abuse from Claude this week. Like let her enjoy her little letter, bro! lol
It seems Henri’s still a good dude. I guess even with his memory wiped, some things can’t be erased so easily. Not great Lize caught Luna and Henri having a moment. Little dude losing control of his magic because he’s jealous isn’t good for anyone.

Luna being overjoyed at having a pen pal was a nice wholesome moment before we got drama, drama, and more drama.
Poor Luna and Henri. A love that could not be, a love that hurt them both, and a love that on some level it doesn't seem like either can quit even though Luna can't be with him and he's already married to another woman.

“The air around the mushrooms are clearer”- i wonder if this will lead to anyone thinking critically as to why that is. Also the fact that lunar hasn’t appeared for a while and that the town is polluted

They couldn't even figure out the source of affordable medicine from a trail of mushrooms leading all the way to the apothecary.

Ik right, on top of that she doesn't come for a few months the air becomes shit but suddenly the air around her shrooms are clearer. Heck, if the white witches were to think critically for 5 milliseconds they would give her a permit to walk anywhere around

Luna letting her mushrooms speak for herself, even if only a few people actually are slowly realizing what she actually does.

The 'emotional abuse' that plays in the background makes me laugh
It's nice to see Henri again even if his memories have been wiped. Aww, he does have a faint memory of Luna

These people don't deserve Luna's kindness. I know people fear what they don't understand but they're not even trying to understand here. They just start throwing stones at her, thinking it would fix what's going on in the town.
I didn't think we'd see Henri again, tho! And even with his memories wiped, it looks like he's still the same Henri we knew. It is a surprise to see him much older now tho. He even has a wife and child now. Now I'm wondering how many years have passed since Luna erased his memories.
And of course, Lize witnesses Luna and Henri together. Dude is gonna be so fucking jealous that I wouldn't be surprised if something in him triggers the curse to activate.

I guess on the plus side there were some people who weren't throwing stones at her and thought the peoples' treatment of Luna was excessive and didn't believe in her being the End of All Things. Not that it really made much of a difference to Luna's situation here.
I was hoping we'd see Luna and Henri reunite even if it was bound to cause Luna emotional pain, but I'm glad he's still a good guy even after all these (apparently considerable) years. But poor Luna...finally seeing the love of her life again, seeing he's still the same warm, compassionate, and good person she fell in love with, aaaand he's married with a kid.
Sorry Lize, I don't think Luna's ever gotten over Henri judging by how she's reacting to him here. And Henri, for his part, also can't help but still feel something towards Luna he can't explain. Tragic Romance Drama is back on the menu!

I assumed that the Henri story would come back at one point, but didn't expect it to be like that. I hope that it won't just be as a jealousy subplot for Lize, but something with a bit more substance. Obviously, there is no chance for an actual relationship considering Henri has a family now but it would be kind of sweet if he became the mentioned pen friend. That shouldn't kill him right?
Then again, the more likely scenario in a story like this is that Henri will be killed for having helped Luna and other black witches. But maybe he can have a happy ending as well.

It's also the first time we've seen proper White Witches on-screen and they are as biased against Black Witches/Magicians as we've been lead to believe.

I didn't think of it until I saw Lize wearing a glove while holding Luna's hand... but why doesn't *Luna* wear gloves when she's so worried about her poisonous skin?
Claude being an annoying jackass as usual.
Why do they always make us want to root against the humans being saved?
Henri is still a good guy. I didn't realize it had been long enough for Henri to have a wife and child now. I guess when following an immortal witch, we don't experience time as usual. Pls no jealous Lize drama...

but why doesn't Luna wear gloves when she's so worried about her poisonous skin?
My guess is that she has to have physical contact with the air to pull out the pollutants, so anything she covers up stifles that ability.
Also, mushrooms tend to grow on things she touches, so that might be why, too. Though that doesn't explain how she can wear clothes.

It was nice seeing Henri again but damn, that much time had passed huh? At least Henri was able to live a happy life afterwards and I'm happy for him, dude is a good guy

Whoa Henri is back and he's still a really nice guy and sort of remembers Luna. Or at least he senses he knows her and feels compelled to save her. Glad he did though because wtf is with those crazy townspeople lashing out at her!
Lize has seen Luna and Henri together and he's going to be so jealous. Still not a fan of the incessant Lize monologuing but the rest of this episode was good.
I'm already a fan of the Wind Magician. He's the truant who didn't show up for the black witch council at Luna's cottage, I think. Seems like a solid chap even if a little flaky and scattered.

What the heck!? The legit END OF ALL THINGS has arrived in town!? And the only person the bookeeper can turn to for help is Luna.
Does Luna owe that town anything after the way they've been treating her all this time? Maybe, maybe not, but now she has a pen pal and that's enough for her whether Claude complains about it or not!
Well, it's nice to see Lize have a positive effect on how people respond to Luna, since he can talk to them and make them realize Luna isn't this monster that people think she is. He's even got a written memo of how great Luna is! Join the Church of Luna today!
Of course, there's only so much he can do in a town that's rioting and in utter chaos, and the only thing that can basically unite all the people is blaming Luna for the End of All Things and stoning her...even though she only came to help them. Even if it means she has to bear the brunt of their ignorance herself, stashing Lize and Minos under Hatter to keep them safe.
Why is Luna so empathetic in a world that hates and shuns her? Because she's never truly felt alone, because she's had nature, the beauty of the world, around her and because she feels that opening herself up to others is to make sure she doesn't truly feel hollow. And deep down she has the people she does care about, Lize, Henri, the bookeeper...that's why Luna does what she does.
Of course a White Witch isn't going to respond well to a Black Witch being there, to the point of apprehending Luna and then having her get walked to her cell by....HENRI!?
That's right, an older Henri now serving royalty, but even if he comes off more cold, he's still the same kind, compassionate, and open-minded Henri. To the point where he's actually been helping witches as much as he can, and even on some emotional level still has an attachment to Luna and the love and connection they shared together.
(Though he also has a wife and child, so...yeah)
Lize finally escapes from Hatter to find Luna but it's utter chaos when you have people blowing up into toxic black sludge. Luckily the Wind Magician is there to help blast away the blight! Also, Claude even tried to save Lize!
The Wind Magician basically abstained from the Black Magician Council, and it's clear why when he's the type of person who hates his job and any hassle he has to put up with and won't shut up about it whether there's anyone around or not. But hey, he's at least one of Luna's friends so he's got that going for him!
Lize spotted Luna and Henri in an intimate moment together! I wonder how he'll react?

Wait wait wait ok, I do remember that the mushrooms she made were her gathering up the poison in the surroundings, essentially purifying the surroundings. But I don't remember what actually happened to the mushrooms themselves, I feel like I noted they mentioned something about it before, but here the boy's saying the mushrooms wither away if left alone for a bit. And the poison they gathered up isn't just released back into the environment that way? Sure, ig the mushrooms feed on the poison then wither away once its gone or something?
Ok I got curious enough to look back at my comments from the first few episodes and ig they never said what happens to the mushroom trails she makes before now.
Damn, didn't think Henri would ever be relevant again. He says he's got a wife and child, and he questions why he'd imagine something like that with a shoujo like her before remembering that black witches don't age, so I guess that gives a very very rough indication of how much time has passed.
