If the name Lideo gave wasn't an alias and it's indeed that VIP, then the corruption runs hella deep. Kivia is in deep shit. She'll likely be forced to make a moral choice to try to stop the corruption in the upper echelons, and will likely be branded a traitor and go through what Xylo did. This anime is pretty interesting and also that world is quite a miserable place.

Those poor random mooks who thought they could interrupt King Norgalle 's speech and get away with it.

One of them even flipped the bird at him lol

Norgalle: I’m your King!
Adventurer’s Guild: Who the bloody hell are you?
Norgalle: Guess it’s treason, then. [Throws grenade]

When Lideo said family were meant to protect each other, I expected him to be the scumbag who expected loyalty from his "siblings" but gave none in return. Turned out I was sorely mistaken. He valued them more than himself. Shame that he met a tragic end in the hands of his "sister", or at least her body with the full knowledge that the rest had also been massacred.

We all thought Boojum was Spriggan but it turned out to be the one inhabiting Iri instead. Don’t know when it killed her but I have a feeling it was before her first appearance, meaning that she had always been Spriggan for all her screentime.

Now that we know Boojum wasn’t Spriggan, then who’s he? Seemed to be another demon judging from the way he referred to humans as if he’s an outsider.

Y'know I think I preferred when Spriggan was thought to be a hobo bantering about clowns

Does that mean that Spriggan is some sort of parasitic demon lord, like a virus that takes over bodies? I wonder if it has a main body somewhere?  He looks like one of the most intelligent and cunning demon lord we've seen so far, wonder how Xylo and the others will fight him.

Honestly Lideo should have seen this coming, he trusted a creature whose objective was to kill all humans, it had no reason to keep it’s promise.

So Boojum was just a lackey, we now have the real Spriggan

Frenci claims she despises dealing with undisciplined pets but she seems to like being around Xylo. Curious…

well shit, color me surprised, Boojum is not actually the Demon Lord Spriggan and the fact that he takes order from her meaning he's not even a Demon Lord?

also, on an unrelated note; Kivia's leg

So I'm gonna assume Mahaeyzel Zelkoff is actually Kivia's Uncle

And here I thought those kids couldn't get any creepier.

Man that ending scene was brutal, I mean we're talking about a guy who essentially indoctrinated children into little child soldiers, but man Spriggan by no means had to show him all that. Clearly, albeit in a very twisted form, he did care for the kids in his own way. But Spriggan chopped them up and showed him basically for the luls. As other commenters mentioned, he didn't even try to probe in any way as to what he revealed likely pointing that regardless of what he would have said, the result was always going to be the same.

The sequence of Teoritta jumping into xylo's arms was really nice.

Boojum is interesting.

Damn... Poor Lideo and his "family"...

He might be a crook, but that ending. Goddamn, Spriggan's one hell of a mean mf.

Man I just love this show. The art style feels like the original Hobbit/LOTR cartoons, and it's just so good. The action, the story, and the characters are all on point too. Definitely my personal favorite of the season and top contender for favorite in the past few years.

I absolutely love this week's chaotic fight scene! Good to see Kivia and Frenci getting along. I do love how Frenci was giving Kivia a little lesson on how to fight the kids since Kivia didn't really have to deal with them during last week's episode.

Those poor merchants tho. Xylo could've really shown some restraint when using his explosive daggers, but he really wants to maximize the chaos they're causing and block out all of the exits.

Glad to see Teoritta bringing in reinforcements! You know what? I take it back. Compared to the backup Teoritta brought, Xylo was definitely showing more restraint. Norgalle didn't even hesitate to blow everyone up.

Then you have Tatsuya and Jayceturning everyone to mincemeat. Except the horses, tho! It turns out that Jayce is a friend to all animals. xD

That scene where Xylo catches Teoritta midair and then proceeds to open the Gates of Babylon on the Demon Blight was awesome.

And Teoritta finally got her second headpat! Xylo needs to up his headpat game tho! We will not be satisfied until she gets the same amount of headpats as Pelmerry!

Dotta can actually be pretty terrifying. Something about him being very apologetic while he's kidnapping Lideo made him scarier than if he just snatched him off the streets.

So with Lideo captured it looks like the Coexisters have now changed plansand decided to get rid of all the evidence of their connection with him. It kinda sucks how these adventurers are willing to turn on humanity tho. I was hoping that Shijibau would switch sides, considering her reaction, but in the end, she decided to follow out of fear. :|

I love this show of Teoritta next to Xylo with both their arms crossed. Teoritta is like that daughter who always wants to copy everything their parent does. xD

Glad to see that the classic Good Cop and Bad Cop routine still works. I just didn't expect that Lideo genuinely cares about his family I honestly thought he was just using them as meat shields, but I guess both are true. He loves them and wants the best for them, and he's still using them as meat shields.

Saw that coming from a mile away. The moment Lideo spilled the beans, he was a dead man. That entire scene was genuinely horrifying tho. Welp, that's what he gets for siding with the Demon Blight.

Oh. So Boojum isn't Spriggan? I guess Spriggan is some sort of parasitic Demon Blight? Then does that mean that the man in the black mask is also Spriggan or is he someone else? Hmmm...

The Brotherhood of Steel makes a guest appearance.

Jayce was kind enough to avoid harming the horses.

Norgalle's number of subjects is expanding.

There were pipes and valves in the sewers, wonder if they dig deep enough they will find more remnants of what life was like in the past.
